Ragnos is descriped as the Sith Lord and the most powerful of the most powerful posessing titanic powers even among the godlike ancient Sith Lords. The dude is a walking superlative in terms of force powers.Just have a look at his sceptre. Even in the hands of a minor force user it drained entire planets, collapsed buildings, charged legions of none force user with force powers on Jedi Knight level, threw force users through entire rooms and had the ability to resurrect persons that were dead for 5,000 years. And that was only one of Ragnos toys - a guy that was feared 5,000 years after his death so much that even Luke at this time (a Luke that had faced DE Sidious and Exar Kun's spirit at that point) thought that it would take the combined power of the entire academy just to try fighting a living Ragnos (without a granted victory).
Of course Ragnos is leagues above Kun and of course he will win that fight. [/B]
im saying that you cannot use that as your only arguement, see^^ by a good arguement i mean something like that. and i think that "he wins bc he is the most powerful of the most powerful" i saw in another thread and mistook it for this one, when i was saying kun should be in the top 5

When I say ancient Sith, I mean the 4 that we know are the greatest. Ragnos, Simus, Sadow and Kressh. Then we have Nadd and Kun after those 4. They are ancient Sith but not of the golden age, which I was referring to.
oh, well i see kun above nadd, and i wouldnt really put kressh on the list, because we really dont know too much about him or how he would rank, i would put
1. Ragnos
2. Simus, only because he contended with ragnos
3. naga
4. exar
5. nadd, or maybe kressh although kressh would be higher if we knew alot more about him
And then who would be after that?
Tulak might be better, Nadd might be better, Ajunta Pall might be better. But we can't be sure about any one of them. Although based on his spirit alone I would put Ajunta Pall at a higher level but there is no real evidence for any of that stuff, so really Kun could very well be 5th or 8th... we don't know.
Dude no offense but it is very logical to believe all the ancient sith lords are above Kun. We don't know much about Kressh except for the fact that he stalemated Sadow after a long fight, so that feat alone puts him ahead of Kun. I put Nadd above Kun because he's described as very powerful, and he corrupted and turned Kun to the dark side..
Ragnos
Simus
Sadow
Kressh
Nadd
Kun

You must have missed the one post where I made one of the better arguments for Marka Ragnos, the quote is actually in Janus' profile.
Besides, I'm saying the argument is definitive. Look it up. He is the most powerful of the most powerful, possesses immense physical strength and a terrifying grasp of the dark side, is mentioned to be able to make Revan's era look like children with lightsabers, has one of the most powerful weapons in existence (his scepter) along with other artifacts (such as his gauntlets that are stolen in KotOR), and he is the Dark Lord (emphasis by the author).
You do not need anything else to draw the inference. If the narrator describes someone as "omnipotent," I don't need to go running around and scurrying for other bits of evidence, because that's really all I need.
Actually, the lightsaber looking like children part is about Tulak Hord who lived before or after Ragnos but not at the same time... So Ragnos could not make lightsaber wielders of Kotor Era look like children, actually he probably could there just isn't a statement made about that particulair thing.

So what? He turned somebody to the Dark Side doesn't make him all powerful, Nadd could very well be above Kun I actually think he is. The thing is however there is no evidence of him really being above Kun or not... We can not really assume either way, although I would rank him higher.
But without prove we can not assume him to be more powerful then Kun.

yes we dont know, that is why its my opinion
i put nadd lower then exar, because of him appearing as a 500 year old spirit, and not being powerful enough to defeat exar, while exar was a 5000 year old spirit, and was still enough to contend with NJO luke, vodo and some students
honestly i didnt really think about tulak hord, id say he goes somewhere up there
and i heard some convincing arguements elsewhere, where ajunta pall was weaker than revan, although i know revan is pretty much a weakling compared to the ancient sith. idk they were pretty convincin, i just wish i could find them again

The statement was made about the Ancient Sith, of which Tulak Hord was named specifically. Also, notice that it's a character quote, so I'm not going to say it's definitive, it's just extremely likely to be the case given the evidence.

JA Luke*. And Ajunta Pall had been dead for who knows how long. He seemed verifiably insane and didn't seem to even know what was up.

no i know marka ragnos would pretty much kill everyone, but i was just saying that people overestimate him, he was the best of the best, but i dont think he would "WTFpWn" everyone with ease .there were probably people, if not a team of people that could contend with ragnos
You're right we don't know if Nadd is stronger than Kun, but his spirit was destroyed by Sadow's amulet, which alone should say something. Who knows maybe Kun is stronger, but we do know the 4 ancient sith lords are at the top, and it's safe to assume that Tulak Hord and Ajunta Pall would be among them.

Not necessarily. If they were members of the "Golden Age" (canonically described as when the Sith were most powerful), then we probably could connect the dots. But we don't. For all we know, Tulak could have been the Dark Lord of his 5 person Empire.
Despite the fact that Marka Ragnos is potentially the most powerful Sith Lord ever, with perhaps only the little-known Tulak Hord being even close to his power, I'd say the Jedi Masters would overpower him. However, most, if not all of them would die in possibly-successful attempt.
I think we can all agree Thon is the most powerful of those Jedi Masters. Vodo-Siosk Baas and Yoda just can't match up to Thon's power in my mind, however, they are close. Nomi and Ood Bnar are the less powerful of the group.
