and what do you mean 'true cutter'? another subculture you've created in your head to fulfill some need in your head you need to categorise everyone and everything? and if she wants the attention that makes her emo too? maybe shes just a person looking for attention, why does she? i don't know maybe she wants people to care for her? i dunno i don't know her. but so what you don't need a name for everything.

And look it up, there is such a thing as "cutters". These are the people who cut themselves for pleasure, but they are also the ones who will hide the scars and not want anyone to find out.
Whether you like it or not, everyone falls into some subcategory in some way, shape or form.
You said it yourself, she might be looking for attention. Now, tell me. Why would an emo dress the way they do? It is for attention. She doesn't dress like one, but cuts like one. Which is why I said she is "emo". Did I mean it in a literal sense? No. I just don't feel she is a true cutter, but emo is the closest thing you can associate it with that people will understand.
We all know that these words are just labels that people throw out there. But it's easier to say "Hey, she cuts like an emo." than go into the full semantics of the matter.
