People who cut are not "emo", or "scene" or anything like that. They are quite simply, and most importantly, troubled. Just watched G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, I was actually surprised at how much I liked it. I thought it would be terrible, but it actually reminded me a lot about the comics and the cartoon series. It's far from perfect, but they did alright.
