True enough, though it's clearly more prominent here. England have made continual references, but when some smalltime German press-writer remarked about Beckham in possibly the most hilarious way, the English press went mental.

Anyways, ya Germany deserve to move on. Lehmann pulled thru just like in Champions League with Arsenal. As for Argentina, 1 of their kickers practically passed the ball to Lehmann. 😂

I havent been on here for 3 days because I have a new job but I will try to have as many discussions with you guys as I can.

I loved Maxi Rodriguez at the end of that game, where he goes flying in from off screen, punches someone, anyone, and then runs off again. Great stuff. Giving the sport a bad name and everything, but great all the same.

Can't believe Argentina went out, where was Messi? Germany will win it now, they know it. Italy will give them a good game though, they're desparate to prolong their vacation away from trouble back home as long as possible.

Predictions:

England 1 - Portugal 2 (a.e.t, Rooney, Figo, Maniche)

France 3 - Brazil 2 (Henry x2, Ribery, Ronaldo, Robinho)

I don't think Italy will necessarily give them a good game, a hard game maybe.

I think it will be tough for both teams today, my prediction is they go to extra time and someone scores or they go to penalties.
