3) Rooney was ejected
4) They were tired
4) Owen would have murdered them
5) If Rooney wasnt ejected he would have scored for sure, i mean it

England kept catching Portugal on the break and created a lot of great chances, I won't take that from them.

However, as Deano once said "It's their own fault if they don't finish them.".

This game proved exactly why you play Lennon, not Beckham.

Yeah, sucks ballls that England lost. We played well, but we lost.

Life goes on, so now I shall be supporting Brazil for their skill, and Germany for their passion. If either of those teams win, then I'll be happy with the way the World Cup went.

It's a sad day for us English supporters, but we always lose on penalties, so it's not a surprise really.

That's the spirit.

One thing that gets me, as I discussed with a friend, is what exactly do you get/would you get out of England winning? Life remains the same, as can be said when they lose.

Nothing changes. Some people actually act like their life is worse now. If Brazil got knocked out tonight, it'd suck, but I'll be over it by morning.
