Sora(Kingdom Hearts) vs Link(Legend of Zelda)

Started by Burning thought116 pages

Well I am sorry, but, I disagree, I just want to argue in this thread what the games actually show us 🙂

Edit

Young Link whoops Sora's ass.

Kinda sucks how this thread just died all of a sudden. It was a nice topic too. This is someone else on this account because my friend has probably forgotten about it already so its irrelevant. I think Sora would win, not by much, but still I think odds are in his favor. Any takers?

Also posted here back in 07 I think. Was somewhat biased for Sora, but it would be a good swordfight. Don't know why people want to bring in LOLZTRYFORSIZGOD&NARYOOWUVSLINK!, because it would be boring.

It's not like Sora doesn't have summons like Tinker Bell who serves just the same purpose as Naryu's Love, and Genie who grants pretty much any wish (as I believe the Triforce grants for Link at one point).

In a sword fight it's a good match. Lolz @ people downplaying Sora's weapon for looking like a gigantic key. It's not the look of the weapon but what it does and how well the wielder uses it, ignoramuses that are out there if any.

im wanna try & revive this thread cuz there were alot of good points, my money's on link he'd murk sora's scrawny butt

Best arguement I ever heard on these boards. 🙄

Are you aware that Sora is ten times faster than Link, can teleport, and basically use a building as a tennis ball?

That was more than a month old. Link boy was the one who revived this.

Also so much for having a "scrawny butt", yung link. It's something both Sora and Link share.

Also I'm not surprised someone agrees Sora takes it in the speed department, and in the department of who deals a stronger blow considering the weapons being used. Not saying the Master Sword isn't powerful, but I believe the Keyblade is effective in more ways, if you get the drift. (casts magic, shoots light beams, breaks seals, and packs a lot of power, refer to buildings being broken).

how could you have posted here in '07 if you joined in '09 😖hifty:

Well why don't you check, if you don't see a post by me then I'm referring to a thread on another forum. I don't only roam KMC. 🙂

I know how.

Way to go FWahMaN

I forget, does Sora have drive forms?

The Master Sword is the superior weapon here. No doubt about it.

Granite article v
http://uts.cc.utexas.edu/~rmr/definition.html <--source.

"Since so many people ask me about "weight" [granite not mine]....I have an old reference that says an "average" granite has a density of about 166.5 lb. per cubic foot, or about 2.6 times what the same volume of water would weigh. If its what commercial stone dealers call a "black granite" the density would likely be much higher."

A snippet of my own calculations from a text file on my comp, which I encourage any skeptic to test. They're based on the above screenshot.

"Calcs.

OoT Link.

73 pixels = 6 ft.
Side length= 143 pixels = 11.753 ft /2 = 5.876 ft.

Pillar volume in cubic feet; 20075.4 [Base x height.] [Base = radius [9.5] x 1/2 side length [5.876]x 6] 334.59
Height = 60 ft.

Weight in pounds per cubic foot depends on the composition.
[usually 166.5 for lighter WHITE granite. Total weight in pounds; 3342554.1]
- 1671.27705 tons.
[Black granite, much more likely; 179. Total weight in pounds; 3593496.6]
- 1796.7483 tons. "

Handy calculator;
http://www.ajdesigner.com/phpenergykenetic/kenetic_energy_equation.php Enter any weight I've listed for the stone, and a speed of 75 m/s, then take the energy you get, switch to solving for mass [at the bottom of that page] and enter in the energy, and a speed of 3 m/s. [What someone can lift over their head.]

Numbers I settle for based on mass downrounding, ignoring the throw, smaller estimation, and reducing the variables to ridiculous tininess;
1388.994
1160.858
1044.772

Any questions? 😐

Source that Link is 6 ft tall?

He was portrayed no taller than 5'4" in SC2. 😉

The keyblade allowed Sora to do feats beyond anything Link has done (besides that one strength feat with the Golden Gauntlets). Sora wasn't even much of a fighter before he had the weapon and couldn't beat a feeble Shadow. With the keyblade, he was able to take on 1000 Heartless that make Shadows look like little bugs.

The keyblade is easily superior to the Master Sword.

^OoT Link (By my workings) is 5'10 at most. And even with a 6 ft Link that pillar is 600tons max.
