Sora(Kingdom Hearts) vs Link(Legend of Zelda)

Nemebro has personally checked my numbers before, haha. =P

I trust the words of both of you, so don't doubt that 😛 Just saying it seems inprobable and I'd like to see it.

Edit, you can see the girth of the stone is approx 3x the height of Link, even though it's foreshortened, I've mathed it to the pixel.

yeh you see, obvioulsy the stone has an aura of magic that gives Link this strength or the block he is standing on does...because he never shows 1000+ ton strength again in the game against anything else, and Ganon who is not shown to be of this level of strength, smashes the sword out of his hand with ease.

Link throws blocks like that three times in the same game 😐 The gauntlets give him incredible strength, this is canon fact. Ganon's stronger by canon aswell.. Sooooo. You have.. Nothing?

I think Link wins out of the fact that he actually has access to all his abilities. Sora is extremely limited without his partners in battle. No Donal= No Wisdom Form. No Goofy = No Valor Form. Neither = No Master Form (I think. I haven't gotten very far in KH2 yet). Technically speaking, the same is said of Shadow Form, too, since Sora's allies vanish when he makes the transformation.

Ganon is stronger than Link by Canon, obvioulsy.

Yes thats probably likely, but then again does he do anything impressive in the 1000 ton range like he does with those blocks? its obviouls those blocks emanate a magic power that strengthens him considerably 🙂

You're trolling.

No not really, thats an important argument, you cant use Links strength in this thread if he is only given it by blocks found in his own game, unless those blocks exist in this thread. Maybe I missed that part.

There's one important part you're neglecting, BT: Link's strength isn't given to him by the blocks, they're given to him by the Guantlets. If the blocks were the catalyst of his might, then he would have been able to lift them whenever.

"Since so many people ask me about "weight" [granite not mine]....I have an old reference that says an "average" granite has a density of about 166.5 lb. per cubic foot, or about 2.6 times what the same volume of water would weigh. If its what commercial stone dealers call a "black granite" the density would likely be much higher."

A snippet of my own calculations from a text file on my comp, which I encourage any skeptic to test. They're based on the above screenshot.

"Calcs.

OoT Link.

73 pixels = 6 ft.
Side length= 143 pixels = 11.753 ft /2 = 5.876 ft.

Pillar volume in cubic feet; 20075.4 [Base x height.] [Base = radius [9.5] x 1/2 side length [5.876]x 6] 334.59
Height = 60 ft.

Weight in pounds per cubic foot depends on the composition.
[usually 166.5 for lighter WHITE granite. Total weight in pounds; 3342554.1]
- 1671.27705 tons.
[Black granite, much more likely; 179. Total weight in pounds; 3593496.6]
- 1796.7483 tons. "

Handy calculator;
http://www.ajdesigner.com/phpenergykenetic/kenetic_energy_equation.php Enter any weight I've listed for the stone, and a speed of 75 m/s, then take the energy you get, switch to solving for mass [at the bottom of that page] and enter in the energy, and a speed of 3 m/s. [What someone can lift over their head.]

Numbers I settle for based on mass downrounding, ignoring the throw, smaller estimation, and reducing the variables to ridiculous tininess;
1388.994
1160.858
1044.772

Any questions? 😐

I am right if the blocks gave him 14 strength, the Gauntlets gave him 1 and he required 15 strength to lift the gauntlets 😉

That doesn't make sense in any context, BT. Even as a DnD joke.. Play the game. D:<!

ofcourse it does, the blocks themselves give him a powerup, but its not quite enough to lift them, yet with the gauntlets bonus, AND the blocks, he can. I mean it can be the only way, since hes never shown that strength with anything else, with Ganon, or any other being while wearing the gauntlets.

I can't really tell if you're being serious or joking, BT, but I do hope you are. As impressive as your theory is, it's astronomically out of sync with what the game itself portends.

Also, D&D FTW.

Honestly, I think he's baiting.

I know he's baiting, but I can also smell the burning rubber as he tries to wrap his brain around my post. <_<

The game itself only portends that link can lift those blocks, he does not actually lift anything else, he doesnt break the swords or weapons he uses etc, or even his enemies who he attacks after he gets the gauntlets, there is not even a scripted event of him using strength of any high level without being near those blocks that amusingly enough all look the same. Also theres something that speaks of sorcery about those blocks, all those strange markings...seems more than a coincidence and by the games own feats Links limit is those blocks soo.....blocks give link strength, Gauntlets give him a little more 😛

lol baiting? no.....thats what we see in the games, dont moan at me for what we can actually see.....

Yes. I suggest you stop it.
