Sora(Kingdom Hearts) vs Link(Legend of Zelda)

I thought you needed two partners or an amnesia castle to summon genie so does it really matter if he's stronger than the master sword or not.
And if they are in said castle, would that not do more harm than good for sora?

Timon can walk on clouds. Disney Acid Sequences =/= Representative of a character's power.

Genie never spun a planet. People would have noticed, Alladin wouldn't have watched, ect. It's just a part of the movie where bullshit happens to a song. Happens in almost every Disney movie.

Only Genie is actually a confirmed reality warper.

Genie did not turn into the moon in a song, but at the end of the movie.

Also, the difference between Frollo and Genie is that that is meant to be Frollo's delusional and insane mind being brought to life, so that we may visualise his insanity.

He has amazing powers, still can't kill though. That's kinda important in a fight

It really doesn't.

Even if I gave you Soul Caliber feats...it's really not going to help much. Unless Link gets disarmed and is forced to fight H2H.

Call it what you will, whether anything in any of those scenes actually happened is debatable at best, with the vast majority being "Nope, didn't happen at all."

Basically, there's no reason to even believe that Genie did any of those things. At all.

We've seen the actual destructive power of a Genie and it's not that much, he creates a fissure and tears off a castle tower and launches it away.

But being able to put sora in a hold would be an extreme advantage for link as sora's style is mostly quick attacks then a retreat.
Also unlike sora link's arsenal is HUGE. He has like five swords, a giant hammer and sticks, he literaly could kill monsters with a stick.

Genie was never shown to be weaker than his top feats in the songs. Never.

Since we appear to be branching off into other games, I'll just say Link does have access to a time stop effect. Thanks to Phantom Hourglass, Link can stop time with the Phantom Sword, though only if his partner Ciela gives him a Phantom Sphere.

Anyway, this mostly hinges on the fact that the fairies, including Ciela, are treated as equipped items in that game. Similar to how KH Genie works I guess?
