colossus regularly uses his head, its in his character, its one of the things he's renowned for, being a strong man who has nothing even approaching the normal personality of a strong man...

Skill? Colossus is skilled for the reasons you stated. But Thing is a notch ahead.

ord, who beat a team of x-men single handed, got taken down by colossus... it should also be stated, that ord was a champion among his people, who fought in a gladiator-style competition to win the right to come to earth and kill the mutant who was supposed to destroy their planet... colossus lasted quite a while against the danger room security (of shiar design), took a full on sentinel blast without moving, and this is only in the last 13 comics he's been in...

when he was barely 18 he was holding his own against the likes of gladiator and juggernaut...

Also, Colossus has not only been trained by Cyclops and Wolverine, he is on his own an accomplished Judoka.

So, tell me again, what advantages does the Thing hold?

Skill? Thing knows Judo also aswell as wrestling. Most ground guys dominate MMA. When has Colossus shown skill? He hasn't.

Colossus has shown skill, so has Ben.

I'd definately say Ben is the stronger of the two.

Ben doesn't have a bunch of lifting feats. He's not known for that. He's known for being a slugger. You have to go by strength feats, and he goes hand to hand with guys like Namor, Hulk, and other top tiers. He's beaten Namor before, stalemated Hulk, etc.

I can't say Colossus would pull any of that off.

Depends on how you look at it. Most people here on KMC would say Colossus off the top of their heads, because I honestly think this forum has a bias toward the Justice League and the X-Men that's considerably unwarranted.

I think Ben wins more often than not due to his superior experience, strength, and cunning.

I'd be a moron saying that Colossus could take on the same top tiers Ben has and come out looking as good. They'd flatten him.

Hulk would snap him like a twig.

Hardy har. I thought Juggernaut 1 shotted him. Also, that was Gladiator before he had really been established, and the fight and commentary on the fight doesn't match up.

You'd assume correct. Colossus fared well for a decent strength brick, but not really better than that.

He fought the Juggernaut when he was a young teenager. Back when he used to be much weaker - about Thing level.

He's been upgrades multiple times since.
