Classic Juggernaut vs Superman

first off if he uses the sheild than the hammer doesn't even touch him but here thor rain monumentous blow after blow or whatever and juggernaut goes nowhere.

Juggernaut has never even had a serious fight, except for the Exemplars, Thor and when he went to Cyttorak's dimension.
Usually, he either has cleaned up people easily, or he got cheaped out right away.
We have never really seen what he is capable of. Even the fight with Thor lasted as long as it did because Thor is.. well, Thor is Thor, and he got kicked around the entire time, but kept coming back. Having no effect on Juggernaut.
Personally, I think the fact that he has an entire dimension to draw energy from, makes him a notch above Superman.
I think there are things that Juggernaut can do, that he hasn't even had to think of yet.
Supes can not beat him. And, the longer the fight goes on, the worse it would be for Superman.

well at one point juggernaut was capable of magic and minor telepathy. so if he takes another dip into the crimson cosmos who knows what he will come out with.

Juggernaut loses by BFR before he realizes what's going on.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing he can do, he does NOT have super speed at all, let alone on par with Superman.

He doesn't need super speed. And he loves that superman has it. Because, if superman goes super fast, and keeps hitting Juggernaut at super speed, to Juggs it will fel like one of those "Magic-Fingers" massage beds.
And Juggernaut will be soothed. He will smile, say thank you and take a nap, while supes gives him a hyper-speed tickle-session.

their point about super speed is that he will be hurled off the planet by superman before he can mount a defence. But i would disagree considering his sheild is an inertia cancelling force and has cancled his in the past (walking on air). so the throws power would be sucked out of it and he would fall back to the ground. Then he would go about the long trudge back to superman. Rinse Repeat. that would be why i called it a stalemate

also wasnt superman first known as the immovable object? remember the glory days of superman, when he could kick most peoples arse's. something like, if he didnt want to be moved he wont, sort of thing, also referred to in some comics as a planet mover. sod knows if he can move planets now???

Sort makes the need for prep or superspeed in this fight vital for Juggs. Since he has neither he cannot win, and it doesn't stalemate.

As much as you'd like it to, it just ain't gonna happen.

There's also the lovely issue of Uncanny X-men #194.

The shield is not automatic. Which means it works at the speed of thought, which means it's too slow for use against Superman.
