I love that Mxy is like an all powerful being, that just dicks around all the time, lol.

I realize that "lifting feats" don't mean much in a vs-thread. I know that very well thank you.

But since most people were like "Thanos is stronger end of discussion" without a reliable source to back them up, I had to resort to lifting feats and such, because Superman excels in those.

And I still think that lifting power = punching power. So Superman definitely hits harder and faster. Ouch.

If somebody has a better suggestion how to compare Thanos physical strength and Supermans physical strength, feel free to tell me about it.

are you kidding me? theres people at my school that can bench like 160 to 200 pounds, and i can hit way harder than them.
i dont even think i can bench 115. but you left out that superman can actually hit hard.
lifting strength doesnt matter, look at spiderman, the guy hits like a rock, or in comics, organic steel.
or iron fist, cap america....you get the point.

Do you think a weltereight boxer can hit as hard as a superheavyweight boxer?

i suprise everyone at my school with strength, and i can bench shit.
the reason i know lifting strength doesnt equal punching power is because of me.
lifting strength, equals shit in a fight, unless your going to throw something.
also look at thing, hes not as strong as hulk, but he can hang with him.

Either way Bran, Supes does know how to utilize every bit of that strength.
Some people just don't know how to fight and/or punch.
Supes isn't one of them.

nope, but in boxing, they throw there weight behind there punches.
i also weigh 150, but even last year, at 130(i know, im a pig, but still not fat) i can hit harder than a lot of people, most, or even all.
so i just wont accept a crappy answer like lifting strength equals puching power.

How old are you? Is that big where you're at?
I'm 6 foot 2, 210lbs.

i know, im just responding to a shoddy answer.
and also saying i embaress people stronger than me all the time.
so even if supes was stronger than thanos, theres no way of saying he can hit harder.

hold on big bran, let me educate you, being fully involved in contact sports.

punching power = strength + technique + weight.

your so called people at school, probably punch like girls, i know a body builder called dorian yates, comes to the guildhall for guest appearances, but anyway, he has been in fights and tells me small guys don't hurt him, street punks and the like dont hurt him, and he's 320 pounds of pure muscle, but he does karate and he says the medium sized guys can make him flinch a little because of their skill.

now im a firm believer size means squat, because in my rugby team i bench the most (300 pounds for 10 reps) but the biggest guy on the team can only do 250 pounds, (also take into account that UK weight when transfered is more than american weight so i actually do more in your country, in the end its a composition of things mainly, weight + strength + technique = punching power. simple as that bigbran

no im small, 5'9, 150.
i can even throw around people that are big in the working out way.
very suprising if you see me do it, but even more suprising for the person im fighting.

no they hit pretty hard, even some nerds.
and how do you explain chuck liddel?

i also got 2 older brothers, that are pretty big, and used to beat me up all the time, so i can take a serious punch.
i even can beat up a lot of my brothers friends. and there 6 or 7 years older than me.

chuck liddel is an extremely trained fighter, another level to what you know

And then you factor in speed/velocity, specially in Supes' case.

And a pound is a measurement, it doesn't change where you are. If you said KILOS, that would convert to more pounds. But a "pound" is a pound anywhere you go. 16 ounces.

ya and hes also my heroe. he can hit way harder than everyone else, and he fights some big ass guys.

speed means nearly zilch but i covered that in when i said mainly these 3, but speed is odd because people can move fast in a fight and do nothing and others can use it to an advantage, that's why it's not a surest part of the main three to punching power, dont try and correct me i've speaken to enough boxing coaches to know that technique is the highest of importance before anything else, speed is forth in line to being a better fighter

i got speed, power, and of course the ability to f*ck someone up.
who needs lifting feats, when you can hit hard? what are you going to throw a weight at the person your fighting?

You're trying to compare people who can lift and not fight to people who can fight and not lift as well. Bad comparison. Supes can do both, Chuck Liddel can do both.

An person that can crush a mountain with a swing from a standstill is lot more deadly when you apply LIGHTSPEED and beyond to back of his swing.

Force is eequal to mass, power and speed of an object.
