Screw that....I'm getting paid for working not for going outside waving a Mexican and American flag. Besides this is all orgainze by bunch of political driven college professors, money seeking lawyers, spanish speaking media, and a ton of political catholic priests. When this is over send back with the illegal immigrants as well. That outta shut them the hell up.
All the spanish kids in school took the day off today to go "protest"...and by protest I mean they all went to the beach and played soccer/drink beer. Yeah..and I am paying these immigrants welfare money for them to drink and play soccer while they claim "I want to stay in america to get education!" Ok Pedro.
Do you guys realize what your saying? Your asking to send back millions of people just so you can.... exactly what does the U.S.A. plan to accomplish with this bill by making it a felony to employ illegal immigrants?
Let me put it this way, the majority of illegal immigrants come from central and south america. They go to the US because they want to make a better life for themselves. Yes they are entering illigally and not everyone who enters gets to stay (i.e. Landed Immigrant, Citizenship). The majority of the jobs such as Manufacturing, Landscaping, Cleaning, Restaurantes...etc mostly employ immigrants because its cheaper to hire someone with no skills than it is to hire someone who graduated from College. Would you hire someone for $8/hour or the educated person for $15/hour?
Believe this or not but 1 day of missed work will not affect you however if you repeat this more freaquently then it will start to affect you. You people talk about immigrants as if they do nothing for the economy yet there are 4.9 million Americans on welfare refusing to work.
whoa really? rofl not here (I live in MD close to DC) its not that big a deal in this area, its just like every other day. Guess I take back what I said as I wasnt really considering other areas ^^ I thnk some are scared of being deported, I hear that as of late a lot ppl (not like usually) have been getting deported in this area and in Califonia I wonder if that's true though, any1 else here of this?

I get what you're saying (my moms and dad came here illegaly), but it's not like we can give em amnesty either!! That would be a slap to the face to ppl who wait YEARS to come here legally! But do you honestly thnk that every illegal would stop working for a number a days? This is only 1 day, I don't think that many ppl would be up to missing 3, 4, or plus. It's complex issue when it comes to those millions already here and figuring out what to do w/ em, but we really need to something about our borders, yeah they help out our economy, but if more more millions that come, it could also have a negative impact on our economy (not to mention what they have already done to the welfare system and health care)

Fix the borders... hah. You should build a bigger wall even tho it wont make a difference.
I agree people who immigrate shouldnt be allowed to "jump the line" at the immigration office to get their citizenship.

In my community a lot of people support my views. Even the Latinos who live in my community. You know why? Their freaking pi$$ed that a whole bunch of their country men and women can simply walk over the borders and not follow the legal processes to get into this country as they had to go through.

Yeah, but there are some ppl from MEXICO that come into this country to get a check from em every now and then, and that's what I'm referring to. I don't think we need a wall (it would be pointless to spend BILLIONS of dollars doing something like that) We need ALOT of border security and we need to let the # of ppl getting visas expend. I don't believe in a guest worker program, and I think those who came here illegally should have to wait 8 years (as a resident, meaning legally) before they become eligible b4 they can receive citizensip, they should also make it harder to get a citizenship as well.

Um can you please show proof to what you say about Mexicans comming into the US to pick up a welfare cheque. First off, you have to be living in the US to recieve welfare, secondly welfare isnt forever, I believe its something like 3 to 6 month support.
