You have no idea. I went to pick up a coffee this morning and to my horror I saw nobody..I heard no spanish being spoken..no broken english..nothing. Just one white pimpled faced kid walking around the back. Thank god the Indians held their ground at dunken donuts though, if it wasnt for them I would be coffee'less.
Hahahaha.
A bunch of people are boycotting Mcdonalds and Burger King today, I'm so happy, no lines to get my food today.
I was just watching the news, I hate protesters sooooo ****ing much. These assholes are walking in the middle of the street, completely shutting it down, blocking traffic, pretty much ASKING for someone to run their asses over. But of course, if someone is driving down the street, using it as it's MEANT to be used, and runs them down, they're "murderers".
I'm going to be protesting against the protesters by going to every minimum wage establishment that hires immigrants and buying something from them. I'm going to go to as many fast food joints as I can today, as many gas stations, as many 7/11's, as many AM PM's, lawnmowing companies, ect. **** these loudmouth dipshits, keep your asses on the sidewalk.

Jack in the Box somehow had MORE people in it today than I've ever seen before. 😖
That's because no one is running the fry machine. If it takes longer to make your food, then it takes longer to get you out of the "resturant". The one across from the Metreon seemed to be running smoothly. But, then again, they have mostly Asian workers. And, from what I saw, the Asians in this city were going to work.
The immigrants might want to reconsider their position in this "walk out". I read the papers and watch the news, but a lot of people in this country don't. This whole situation might be taken the wrong way by middle class America. "Illegal darkies getting out of hand" might just be the result of all this.
This protest was great. I explained already of why i think this law should be gone. I didnt get to go since I was in EPru but I just think that were all equal people in this free nation of ours. Its not an american dream no longer, its a fuggin nightmare. You see, america is a place were other people from other natuions can come to start a new life and a great one. Would you wanna live in Iraq right now or Libya? didnt think so. I wouldnt eighter since theres terrorism, no good money, wars, things like that are the reasons of coming to America to start a new life. And I disagree with many of you about the whole "immigrants have more than americans." Thats crap to me actually. Im pissed off about how the IRS is goin into stores and takin immigrants away. Its wrong. What is this, the 1800's? Im pretty shocked and dissapointed with America.

I would. I really need money.
growing up near the shenandoah valley in Virginia my family used to pay farmers so we could go out and pick our own apples, peaches, blackberry's, strawberry's etc etc it was pretty inexpensive but we did the picking.
Point is doing the dirty jobs isn't the end all be all for immigrant workers as some people would make it out to be.
This situation seems a bit out of control.
If it's such a problem thatthe immigrants and their supporters are trying to pass a law that would make them all legal, and the anti-immigration groups are trying to toughen up both immigration laws and border patrols, then why not give that guest-worker status to those illegal immigrants who can pass some basic level entry exams (for example, english speaking and reading/writing)? Instead of granting them sudden citizenship, initiate a program that all the illegal immigrants in the country can apply for which is simply a test. Then toughen up on immigration laws: maybe even pass that law about employing illegals. Some illegals would be deported (those that didn't apply for citizenship or those that failed to meet entry requirements) but the majority would pass, I suspect.
The 'bottom-feeder' jobs would still be held by the same people, but any new illegal immigrants would be deported. Loosening up on immigration applications but coming down harder on law-breakers would encourage people to go through legal channels.
I can see why it would anger people that illegal immigrants seem to break the law for little punishment (and perhaps even the reward of citizenship), but I don't really see the point of those who are arguing for the immigrants. Fair enough, the system may be a bad one, but breaking the law in such extreme numbers isn't the democratic way to go about changing it. Illegal immigrants are exactly that - illegal - and if someone wants the law to change, merely breaking it repeatedly and being proud of such actions is not the best way to go about it. Illegal immigrants have broken the law, and do not deserve a reward for it, no matter what someone's emotional or family connection to them is.
