There should at least be laws that are more fair to immigrants so that we dont end up left wit no jobs. Sometimes they pass very strict laws in america because of the wealth and power it has. It makes sence but shouldnt it have enough money for the people? Why cant the US and there laws think about the citizens and people who live here?
Im may not know much about this but this is what I think so far about the whole situation which has lead to riots, rallies, ECT. of immigrants flooding the streets against this all because they know that they work for this country alot and I think that they have a good point. Some jobs help the community, even the country and the workers are probably immigrants also doin a very god job and makin this country better. Theres also immigrants in war against Iraq fighting for a Country they live in for a living and they do it for the country also. I seen pics of the riot and all. The most interesting one was a pic of a mexican man wit a sign that says "Bush, my mexican son died in the war"
Im heated because I read this in another forum that has already been closed ((in Myspace))
Quote ((From matt of Glendale, Arizona)) :
"All of you, who claim to be Mexicans, stop it.
1.Stop making Spanish your first language-
2.Stop speaking Spanish in public-
3.Stop disrespecting our country by trying to forcefully change our laws to fit your wants.
4.Stop disrespecting our country by waving your flags when you should be waving the flag of the United States of America. With the exception of your State’s flag.
5.Stop expressing your Mexican pride. (YOUR LOYALTY IS NOT WITH MEXICO, BUT WITH AMERICA)
Your family abandoned Mexico by coming over to OUR country in hopes of a life filled with many opportunities. You wouldn’t go over to someone else’s house and try changing their household? Well stop trying to change “OURS”.
See, that is the problem. You guys are creating diversity when there shouldn't be one. While you guys are coming together as Latinos, you should be coming together as "Americans".
We all have one thing in common, and it is that we are all immigrants. The only problem is, we've established a law for the people and by the people that makes some forms of immigration "Illegal", because of how much damage it is doing for the people that want to get here "Legally", and for the common American. Of course this is a great country, but you have to realize "economically" this is placing far too much weight on the Americans shoulder in the long run. The reason why it takes quite a bit of effort to become an American citizen, because like other countries we purposely have a waiting list to avoid our country from collapsing due to an unbalanced weight that is causing a malfunction within the system. We didn’t just develop this system over night; it has taken more than 300 years for this system to function."
He might be right but most of it I disagree fully. Who says we have to do what an american tells us to do? That means we have are own rights, right?
