With the Yankees being 10 games back at the break, does anyone here still think they can win the AL East?

It would take a massive collapse by Boston. That's never happened before, though. <sarcastic> .. Honestly at this point, the Yanks would be lucky to win the Wild Card ..

I think it was huge for them to at least be 1 game under at the all star break. I think its going to be one hell of a second half but I think Boston will breakdown and not win the division.

Hate to disagree but I think The Red Sox will win 80% of their games in the second half and definitely win the division.

Thats not what I said. I do not think that the Red Sox will fall all apart. Just like I highly doubt that the Yankees will catch them.

Perhaps that is also factoring in injuries and the Yankees just stinking up the place which they have. Besides, The Yankees just have one man. That one man HAS NEVER SHOWN UP IN A POST SEASON BALL GAME.

What are you talking about? The Yankees sucking really has nothing to do with the Red Sox winning 80% of the 2nd half games. And if they do infact win 80% they obviously didn't get injured. And A-rod really has nothing to do the Red Sox success either.

Are you trying to say the Red Sox would win 80% of the rest of their games against the Yankees? If so, you should have been a lot more clear. If not, you are not making any sense at all.

No, I don't think he is. He had a good 1st half, and might continue that out through the 2nd half, but lets see what he does in the postseason, if he makes it in the postseason.

Zumaya should be coming back soon, that will help out the Tiggers bullpen, as long as he stay away from Guitar Heroes 2.
