an interesting point i never really hear brought up concerns PITCHERS on roids. surely not only HITTERS use them. i wonder what impact they would have on a pitcher? could they make him throw harder? i'd think not, but it's really hard to pin down exactly what it is that makes a pitcher able to throw 95mph. leg strength, clearly, but then you get guys like rivera and pedro who are very small. they would help recovery time, but i'm not sure what else.
if pitchers are doing roids, would it level the playing field? if roid hitters are hitting off roided up pitchers, are the hitters really cheating? π
miller will be a stud. i hope. with him and verlander and bonderman, the tigers are set to be this decade's braves.
except the tigers are scoring 5+ runs/game. π
at the moment (middle releif aside) they gotta be the AL favourite to get to the series, especially given how boston as played in recent weeks. (the A's are quietly putting their sh!t in order as well though . . .)

Yet we still have the most wins. huh thats weird. Beckett, Dice-K, Curt, Tavarez, Johnathon P., I'd rather have the sox.
consider the divisions -- of course you'll have more wins. it's the sox and a group of chumps. i have no doubt the sox will end UP with more wins at the end of the year (unless they choke the division away which seems ALMOST impossible . . .), but win total is meaningless once the playoffs start.
tigers are beating the sox in era and avg. better hitting, better pitching, playing against better teams more consistently.
be a fan, but be objective. or not, whatever. π

Angels are the best team in baseball....But when it is all said and done the Yankees will win the wild card and ultimately win the world series. π
Thats highly debatable. I really don't think the Red Sox will blow their lead. Red Sox should get their and possibly win it all.

πthe sox are lucky everyone else in their division sucks. at the moment, there is no doubt the tigers with miller, rogers (returned) verlander and bonderman are the favourite in the AL. they have better pitching and are scoring a hell of a lot more runs than the sox.
didnt the Sox take 2 out of 3 last series agianst the tigers?
