Also WD, Not saying it would happen, but how about an all Cali World Series, Dodgers v. Angels?? 😄
Both the Dodgers and Angels have a big obstacle to go through...
Dodgers could face the Cubs or the Phillies....odds are agaisnt them.
Angels....they could face Boston or the Rays. Either way they have to beat them or the ghosts from the past will continue to haunt them.
It would be amazing to have a freeway world series.

The Cubs, I'm scared of because I'm not sure if The Dodgers can score enough. However The Dodgers can beat The Phillies. I love Ryan Howard, but if they pitch carefully to him and the others, they can strike out. Also Philly has no pitching so The Dodgers should be able to score enough to advance..
Both Boston and Tampa have good teams, but The Angels shouldn't be scared of either team. Boston has been struggling so they may not even make it as a wild card. Tampa has a good young team, but lack playoff experience. I think what will happen to the Devil Rays will be the same thing that happened to Detroit a few years ago. Detroit had a totally unexpected great year, but lost it in the playoffs, due to no playoff experience.. But the season isn't over yet so I look forward to the rest of the regular season until the playoffs come..

Philly has no pitching?
Hamels and Myers vs Billingsley and Lowe. I would say Phillies have you beat when it comes to playoff pitching.

Yeah, and Moyer who always does excellent in big games. You might have a better overall 1 to 5 staff, but you only need 3 in the playoffs.

M-E-T-SHahaha. The Cubs will start resting everyone.
There pitchers will still pitch around 4 innings maybe. I doubt they would want to go into the postseason with all there pitchers on 13 days rest. There hitters will probably play until the 6-7th, and I know for a fact that even the Cubs bench would kill the Mets terrible bullpen.
