eh no reason to push it. Lidge has been prefect this year hasnt he? And your gonna need hamels to pitch 2 games most series no need for him to throw any extra pitches. He has got to be one of the most under rated pitchers out there though. Dont think the Brewers have anything left in the tank to get out of this one.
If they managed to keep the team they had now I think they would be amazing. A healthy Gollardo, Sheets, CC would be a sick rotation. Too bad sheets and CC are both leaving for them.

I dont think they figured out anything.
The Brewers are simply stupid for forcing this guy to start his 4th straight game on 3 days rest. If the only chance you have to win is him pitching every game then you already lost so shouldn't kill the guy.

I agree that was very stupid. Should have let him start tomorrow on FULL rest at home.
Hope the White Sox can bounce back...though I'd like to see the Rays win it all just because they deserve it.

Yea gotta like the story of the Rays, also wouldnt mind the Cubs winning just so I dont have to hear cubs fans crying over their 100 years anymore. Also would like White Sox just so Griffey could win. Anyone else I dont care.

True...then again...what would be a better option? He's the guy you want to be mound in the playoffs.
I can't say anything about the Cubs. That would hypocritical of me...since the Halos can't get over the Red Sox. Tonight is a must win for Angels.

Yea but if I got 1 guy who can almost guarantee me a win I want pitching 100% to make damn sure I get that win and not waste it away by putting him out there with half a tank. Its too bad for the brewers if they kept all their pitchers they would likely have the best staff in all of MLB next year but doubt they will keep Sheets or CC
Man this is the thing that really really sucks about that freaking idiotic 3 way wild card division thing. If it hadnt been for that stupid wild card,Johnny Damon who I freaking hate would never have won a world series title since the red sox finished second behind the yankees that year.Baseball was so much better the way it was where you win the division, you go on,you finish second or worse, you stay home.thats the way it SHOULD be.Now the message their sending is its okay to finish in second and not be the best, you can still win the world series. 😠
NOW because of that freaking wild card, the red sox have ANOTHER chance of winning the world series again even though they finished in second place AGAIN. 😠 I was glad they won last year because they did not earn it that year since they finished in second and in the old days they would have missed the playoffs.I will hate that idiotic wild card even more so if the red sox go on to win the world series again which because of the wild card, they have that chance to do so AGAIN. 😠 this would be 2 out of 3 times they backed into the world series. 😠 anybody who isnt outraged over the wild card is not a true basball fan. "and yeah thats you Forumcrew. 😛
