eh hes not hurting his legacy he has been far from a great player for many years.

Absolutely. He lead the league in strikeouts and was second in ERA(second only to a guy who missed an entire month of action). Not only was he the best pitcher in the NL this past season, but he was the best pitcher in the entire league.
You can definitely argue for Greinke having the better year. He had a better ERA, started 1 more game, had 2 more complete games, 1 more shutout, and as bad as the Giants might be the Royals are worse.
Well Halladay put his foot down. Gave the Jays a deadline (spring training) to trade him and said if they dont trade him by then he will not discuss any further trades or contract talks (he has full trade veto control). So essentially they trade him by spring training or they are letting him walk for nothing but compensation picks.

They'll trade him.I remember talking about his trade value being worst. I don't agree purely on the fact that trade values are usually dictated by how many teams want the player.
If the Yankees, Red Sox and others really wanted Halladay, then that will dictate who the Jays are going to receive.
Yea but you never know. They both wanted Johan and the Twins got greedy and kept asking for more and that fell through. He still has good value with a full season to pitch before the team would lose him to FA but they need to get it done at the winter meetings because the closer it gets to spring training the worse it might get for them.
Supposedly the Rays are getting pretty involved with Halladay talks.
I am excited Seattle is bringing in Figgins but we really need some power somewhere in that lineup. With Figgins great ability as a lead off hitter I think they might need to ask Ichiro to go to 3rd, he is certainly capable of it and his speed is not as great as it once was at lead off. If we manage to land Bay also to hit 4th it will be amazing.
