I don't know if the game supports 1920 x 1080 or not offhand... I know it supports the standard computer widescreen resolution of 1920 x 1200 though. I would imagine it would look pretty damn snazzy using a high end Nvidia GPU on an overclocked PC at 1080P though.

I have actually been pondering replacing my 24" computer LCD with a 40" or so 1080P TV, and using it as a computer monitor myself. While I look the 30" computer LCD screens the resolution is a bit too high for my tastes (2560 x 1600 is typical), since games run laggy unless you got an extreme high end video card.

That tornado attack was a waste of points if you ask me.

The three things I always leveled up on him were his

Lighting spread attack

His Hammer throw( Which also an insanely cheap attack because it stuns people from afar.)

Then his Giant Hammer swing attack (Cause it did do a lot of damage)

After that the only other thing I like from him was his godly speed ability. That was a good power to use because you could deal so much damage quickly.

And yeah I found myself crying the "Say Thee Nay" line a few times.

Healers (Logan, Wade) are always handy as well, in pretty much any game format.

Also, Kutulu, Colossus is already on the XBox version. I'm not sure why you needed to download a mod to get him on PC.

but yeah, supposedly my integrated graphics are capable of up to 715mb of nvidia graphics, but i cant seem to get it to actually reflect that... getting awful lag atm.... vista isnt helping either im sure...

just got it working... cyclops PWNS. the powers are exactly what i wanted...

For some reason I just love playing Iron Man in this game. I tried cycling through every character, and Iron Man once you level up his ranged attacks is a perfect character for annihilating characters using range.

My core group always has Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America for some reason. Iron Man is great though for grabbing the hidden power ups on ledges where you can't jump to. Thor is just straight up awesome in the game, probably the most powerful character. Captain America with his shield throws is incredible too, since you can bounce it around a room and destroy all things which release health and energy. Usually the 4th slot is rotated out to other heroes. I have beaten it once so far, but am going through it again to collect power ups and levels before going on to the harder mode.

iron man, thor and cap were the backbone of my team on ps2...

i cant believe the overhaul theyve given his powers, they're exactly the way i would have made them... a beam where you can measure width, and a beam that relies purely on how long you hold down the button for firing time... godly.

my team at this point: cyclops, colossus, iceman and hawkeye...

just killed fing fang foom (As after much tweaking, i got the game running properly... had to lower the graphics slightly, but at this point it runs as well as the ps2 version), and i lol'd watching the other guys... iceman and hawkeye went down pretty quickly, but colossus totally had my back, his AI was sweet, he was kicking the crap out of guys left and right leaving me to fight the dragon... t'was awesome...

I've just beaten Mandarin and my current team is;

Deadpool, Colossus, Iceman and Ms.Marvel

I'm pretty much hatin' both Colossus and Iceman, but I'm trying to get all the costumes so I have to continue using all the characters. It's torture!

because i used marvelmods' big character pack, i cant get costumes without using cheats, so i just used the 'all costumes cheat' from gamefaqs...

need a damn cyclops skin i like... and astonishing colossus, the proper one, not that weird one they have in the game...

I'm getting all the costumes for the achievement, damn annoying. Do you know how horrible it is to play with Moon Knight? I'll tell you, pretty damn horrible!

What do you think of Colossus? I already know that Cyclops is amazing.

im only on like the second level, but from what ive read of colossus' moves, he seems to be a big improvement over his xml days... not as many powers it seems, but better ones... i miss the 'siberian express' move though, that was sweet...

true, i just miss running down a corridor and accelerating into any poor fool that stood in the way...

and the fact that bar cyclops, colossus was my most played char in xml... basically when i let other people play as cyke... as it was rare...

The only other brick I can stand besides Thor is Hulk.

Haven't played with Cyke yet. Though he was absolutely clutch in the XML titles. Just sitting back and firinf like mad with the main power (maxed, of course) was devestating.

I liked the Thing as a brick character tho.

Hulk was honestly the only Brick character I've ever been satisfied with in the XML/MUA games. The others were just, poor. Did no damage at all and the aggro system is broken, so there wasn't really any reason for me to keep them around.

True. But the true bricks aren't that great. Hulk's the only tolerable one for me. And Luke Cage is the worst of the bunch....and imo Thing's not much better.
