exactly the same thing i did lol... cap, tony, spidey, they all fell, but thor kicked so much ass...

yup, t'was the business...

yeah, i'm buying it for pc today... cant wait to get the mods and play as cyclops and colossus... 😄

need to get cracking on some skins though...

I think Thor was one of the few Characters in the game you could play from the beginning and solo through the entire game. If you leveled him up right.

That tornado attack was a waste of points if you ask me.

The three things I always leveled up on him were his

Lighting spread attack

His Hammer throw( Which also an insanely cheap attack because it stuns people from afar.)

Then his Giant Hammer swing attack (Cause it did do a lot of damage)

After that the only other thing I like from him was his godly speed ability. That was a good power to use because you could deal so much damage quickly.

And yeah I found myself crying the "Say Thee Nay" line a few times.

Seems like Thor is unanimously one of the best characters.

Healers (Logan, Wade) are always handy as well, in pretty much any game format.

Also, Kutulu, Colossus is already on the XBox version. I'm not sure why you needed to download a mod to get him on PC.

Thor literally had everything in that game.

He was as strong as any brick character.

He could Fly which I found was a huge bonus.

Had good stats in just about everything.

He had some of the cheapest attacks in the game. His Hammer throw could be thrown into a mass of uncoming enemies and stun them all. Then you could charge or giant Hammer hit and basically take them all out in one or two powered swings.

Or if you just didn't want to waste the time. Simply fly into the air and use Spread lighting over and over until everyone dies while they can not touch you.

That and every time I may have gotten low on health. I found it oddly satisfying to scream. I SAY THEE NAY!

Then let loose with the fireworks to beat people.

And yeah Helaers are always good to have. You don't have to waste health on them then. Although I found that flying is also insanely helpful in this game.

Doctor Doom was also a pretty great character, but he was no Thor.

I wonder what X-man was like.

Beyond my obvious Iceman bias, I found that freezing enemies proved to be immensely useful. Then I could switch to Ironman and do heavy energy attacks (or have my friend do Deadpools dual pistol move, which is extremely damaging in the long run).

That combination has proven one of the most effective, at least when I play.

Also, Digi, if you ever used Sue long enough (I did like one time), she becomes useful after a while. Its really satisfying to throw characters off the edge with her "telekinises" 😂

I only have it for the 360 so I don't know how it would feel to play with Doom but I bet that he would just be plain awesome to play with.

Also was the Juggernaut ever downloadable?

I think supporting characters that can stun and freeze were somewhat useless in this game. I never really needed them. Killing your way through anything works pretty well.

I found in terms of supporting cast.

The best were the leechers. People who could leech Energy or HEalth from people and give it to the group. Or people that could shield the entire group.

Ironman could leech energy very well.

Once you get the Surfer though, the game's a breeze.

Meh, Magneto can do the same and he's not such a wimp at the beginning. Thanks goodness for the villian/hero pack.

It's a lot like Iron Man, actually. Only slight differences.

And no Juggs to my knowledge. Maybe next time.

😉

I haven't played this game...but waiting for the next version.

For those of you that have played, what are the main improvements/issues you would like in the upcoming version? (and what characters would you like to add?)

Because on the PC version he is missing entirely. So if you like the character, you have to include him via mod from some of the fan-made mod sites for it. Same goes for Moon Knight.

This is one of the reference sites I used to get the mods for the PC Version:

http://marvelmods.com/

They have other cool mods for characters that aren't in the PC version (or any version for that matter for some).

i remember when i used to mod freedom force...making skins and hexing meshes...making maps and special effects....i really need a computer at home

I have the playstation 3 version....wow on a hi def tv...it is a beauty to behold

When is the next one coming out?

The PC version with all special effects turned on, running at 1920 x 1200 resolution, blows away the PS3 version in terms of visual clarity, but my monitor is probably a lot smaller (24" widescreen).
