Has to be. He doesn't read comics.

But he DOES have a point Bats. We're more than willing to throw out many of Hulk's showings against characters with uber speed too after all when we're talking about Hulk vs Supes or WW 😬 .

And who other than Quicksilver, has failed to beat Hulk when utilizing his speed?

Like I keep saying, Batman isn't a normal human being. He proves it time after time after time...

That's because the characters with Uber speed didn't USE their Uber speed in those showings.

I didn't see the Silver Surfer breaking the hyperspace barrier when he went up against the Hulk. I didn't see Gladiator hitting multiples of C.

However, the argument 'Batman's only human! He can't do ANYTHING the comics say he can!' is asinine.

If it helps you, think of him as if he were an anime character. Characters that can destroy planets because they trained really, really hard.

Batman may have started as a human, but he's trained himself into something that is most definitely more.

Yep.

You've openly admitted to not reading any comics.

I don't read them like hardcore...but I do browse them in bookstores.

Do you really think that the shots from the class 100 characters were USING the entirety of their strength? Obviously not, because if they had Batman wouldn't have a head. By the same token, do you think that Supergirl was flying lightspeed when Batman dodged? Obviously not because if she had then she would have hit Bats before he could see her move.

Northstar for sure, and I'm sure I could dig up a couple of more if I was dedicated to it(which I'm not).

Browse them?

You are HARDLY an expert on the subject matter as to make an informed opinion about the level of Batman's 'uberness' in his own titles.

PS: Are we now going to throw out Batman karate chopping tree trunks in half simply because real world humans are incapable of such? This pseudo-logic both of you are pushing here is giving me a good laugh.

Because Darkseid, Eiling, Clayface, Killer Croc, they're all the type that LOVE to hold back, right?

I'm pretty sure Northstar beat him senseless when he used his speed, not that it has anything to do with this topic at all.

They do when the writers tell them too 😆 .

Read "Sacrifice" and then come back and try to say the same thing.

You mean the arc that you criticize because of WW's performance against Supes?

Not to THIS topic, but it does to plenty of topics that are parallels to it.

So that's your only argument?

'He's human! All his feats are PIS because humans can't actually do that!"

Meaning pretty much every anime made is _nothing_ but PIS.

As are the harry potter books - they're just human, human's can't cast magic.

As is anything Strange does - he was just a human. Human's can't cast magic.

So's the Flash. I mean, getting hit by a lightning bolt doesn't make you fast, it makes you a paraplegic.

....

It's a comic book. The fact that he has 'human' tacked onto him doesn't make what he does any less valid than what Superman does, what the Flash does, what Darkseid does, or what Spawn does.

Put it this way, do you see Supes beating DS as being PIS? After all, he does it more often than not...

We can continue this rediculousness later if you guys want, but right now I have to be somewhere...
