Seems to be so far, all around an awesome game. I tried some online vs games just a minute ago and they're a lot of fun. Some network problems though, I have trouble connecting to a lot of games, seems so do a lot of other people, but I'm sure that will be smoothed out over the next week or so.
So far it's by far the most exciting 360 game to date.

Gears of War. But it's not a definite yes, just a spot holder until it either moves up into a "positively want" or another game takes its place.

I'm not hyped over Assassin's Creed, but I'm looking forward to it. Problem is other games like Bioshock and Bioware's up and coming RPG take the spotlight in my list.

You can't even compare those games to Gears of War... Halo is a first person shooter, just run and gun... GoW is a strategic shooter, third person game... you have to take cover and use a lot more teamwork. I guess it just depends on what type of game you like better.

I think he's referring to Mass Effect... its a sci-fi role playing game that looks pretty damn cool if I say so myself. Look it up on gamespot or Ign and find some videos of it
Well I can see that, b/c this isn't a first person shooter. You actually see your character moving around in front of you on a terrain and you have a goal to reach and your moving along, only difference is you have a gun to shoot stuff with.
That's why I can see myself getting into this game and eventually getting it.

Got the game tonight, opened the packaged and the security tag was stuck on the backside of the game. So I was like, "**** you" while peeling very carefully the tag. All is well though, but I would of been pissed if the DVD was scractched or covered in that sticky glue substance.
Very cool game, and I really enjoy the Y button point of interest button. I dont know how many countless times I've played a game and I miss an awesome scripted event like in FEAR.
But one thing, I ****ing suck at this game...I always die. Playing on hardcore, I'm not used on having to really watch where I go. Im just getting used to the cover button and how you can go from pillar to pillar automatically instead of manually. And I cant use the chainsaw without getting shot to bits.
Ah well, wicked game though.
