I was surprised about the date, but I can see it happenining.
I remember hearing somewhere that MS idea was to have Gears of War and Halo be released every 2nd year so each year there is a massive game to be released.
I dont think we will see anything groundbreaking, but more of same great action and maybe more co-op options.
Why complain about that? That probably means you can defend yourself with it.

That's Dom's wife/girlfriend and I doubt she's a soldier, what little I got from Gears 1 is that she's more of a civilian. That's just me though.

I hope they get rid of the crab walking (or whatever they called that glitch that let you move at higher speed)
and to make sure that your model isnt too big for the cover you're hiding behind... way too often I found myself thinking I'm covered and the dude kills me cuz my entire arm is exposed

Yeah, because everybody can carry around a chainsaw for hours and put a gun on it and still be able to shoot straight.
Also, dont forget that you have to turn on the chainsaw when being used, which doesnt happen automatically and dont forgot to gas it up before battle at the convient gas truck and hopefully it doesnt get shot and blow up in your face.
Totally makes sense.
