X-Men 4

Storm is strength and elegance. Halle Berry has a more delicate beauty. A rose is pretty, but not the same kind of pretty as a tornado. Plus she's way to short, and er voice is too American. Storm's should be more ethnically ambiguous. This all might seem nit picky, but when you combine shoddy dialogue with a movie based on a comic book, which is an extreemly visual medium, the look of the character is very important. To anyone one who grew up reading the comics Halle isn't storm, she's an actress dressed up as her and it takes you out of the movie, and then you start notice things like: "Gee, that was a really unnatural interaction between Storm and Nightcrawler, where the two were not only completly out of character, but also really boring, when are they going to blow something up'.

Gambit? Okay. That's a great addition (really. it is, considering that he's my favorite X-Man besides Wolverine), but what about Apocalypse? 🙁 If they're going to continue making X-Men movies, they can't put off Apocalypse being in one forever (though I admit, him being in X-Men 3: The Last Stand would've been "out of place" 😛)...

I completely agree, the horsemen storyline is ideal for a movie.

Hmmm, I personally don't agree it would be an ideal storyline, but I would definitely want to see how they handled it in the movies.

For a start, who in the world would play Apoc? Any ideas? Wow, I can't think of one. Lol.

Michael Duncan Clarke (Kingpin in Punisher) would be an ideal Apocalypse for me, or maybe they could use CG!

i honestly think (i might have said this already) they should wait a few years and then start fresh... new cast, new storyline (imo the best bad guy would be sinister, there are lots of different storyline's you could do with sinister), and a new director...

clarke duncan is sort of the default choice for characters like apocalypse or darkseid...

Hey, that's a good idea, actually. They could so start and concentrate on the X-Kids instead of all the faculty for the most part. And as for Sinister, wow, he'd be cool to see. Looks wise, I would choose the guy who plays Ba'al in Stargate SG-1. Sinister wise... same choice... he's a brilliant bad guy.

And, I will have to have a look at this Michael Duncan Clarke cos I haven't seen Punisher yet. Dread the thought!

Hmm. Sinister definitely sounds like a good idea. 🙂 If he were in the movie though (X-Men 4, if it ends up being made), what would be his role exactly? >.> To clone one of the "Summers", or do some other scientific experiment others would consider "mad" ?

Heh. Either way would be cool, I guess. I just can't think of a good reason for Sinister to appear in a movie besides that. He'll probably be some subordinate of Apocalypse (if he too is in the movie) though. After all, it was him who transformed Nathaniel Essex into the super-mutant geneticist known as Sinister... And of course, there never really is an Apocalypse saga of some sort (especially not in a movie) without Cable...

With the Institute needing leadership right now, it seems the right time to introduce Emma Frost. She comes in as the new headmistress to help Xavier (still getting used to his new body), and the relationship with Scott begins - he returns because he wasn't really dead, and gets the central role he was missing before because of Logan. Beast should definitely return.

To play Emma, I can't think of anyone better than Diane Kruger, of Troy & National Treasure fame.

Well, I can now see your point about Michael. Geesh! Look at those muscles. Wow. 😄

And Diane looks the part for Emma, not sure I have seen her in action yet though. Will have to think on that.

I think Emily Procter, aka Karli from CSI: Miami, would make a good Emma Frost...

Emily Proctor's face looks too heavy with the make-up. Diane Kruger has a better glow to her skin, and looks better in white.

i'd have scott and jean have large roles, and i'd have sinister trying to genetically create his own mutant army to do the whole world takeover thing...

i still think melissa george (alias) would be a good emma... she can do the whole 'i'm better than you' attitude easily from what i've seen...

clarke duncan would be great, as would pretty much any big bad guy from stargate, they've had plenty of practice already anyways... 😛

if i was doing x4?

movie would be the first of a new trilogy... mostly new cast and crew... bad guy sinister... basically sinister goes around capturing mutants to build a giant army, colossus and shadowcat being two of his captives... the other x-men (scott, jean, logan, maybe storm) go after them to sinisters base... after a brief battle, the x-men (except wolverine) are captured... while in captivity sinister does experiments on scott, physically and mentally (using telepaths) torturing him.

logan breaks cyclops out, and they split up, cyclops going after sinister, logan going to free the others... colossus gets free and goes on a frickin rampage, him, logan and kitty taking on sinisters army... cyclops finds sinister trying to escape with jean, but after a short fight cyke is injured, on his knees with jean in his arms.... sinister stands over him, offering him a place in what will one day be his new world order... scott declines, removing his visor...

the next shot would be the other x-men arriving to see the devastation caused by scott's blast, and sinister nowhere to be seen...

then they all go home etc...

There would never be an x-men movie without wolverine. the movie revolved almost completely around him, even the movie posters featured ONLY woverines claws

Thanks. The guy I used for Gambit is Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro. He played Xerxes in 300...
