Yeah id like Dos santos to win as well and if this stays mostly standing then i think he can. As u said, he has really good hands much better than what we usually see in the heavyweight division.

In the vast majority of his interviews he is. Look at most of his post and pre- fight interviews, exclusive interviews etc. He comes across as a very humble person. Im not sure how u came to believe that he is arrogant as hell in his interviews.

I had a feeling that it was going to be that interview u would reference. And really that is less arrogance than confidence in his abilities. He even referenced not going to the floor with a jiujutsu guy. I remember lyoto machida saying in the countdown to the rashad fight that he didnt think anyone could defend against his standup style. Similar to this, that is just confidence in his abilities as lyoto has also shown in numerous interviews to be a humble guy.

He said that no one would want to stand with him. Its his strength and he believes that no one would want to play to his strength. That is confidence. If Roger gracie or Marcelo garcia claim that no one wants to go to the ground with them and would instead prefer to keep it standing, it wouldnt be arrogant but just them being confident of their own abilities and aware of the tactics that people will likely use against them.
There are far more interviews with Anderson being extremely humble than those where u can find traces of this so called arrogance.

I believe the latter, but I can see how someone could get a different impression. It's a difficult question anyway. Where do we draw the line between confidence and arrogance? I think there is an inflated image that separates the confident from the cocky. Anderson lacks that delusion you'd see in truly arrogant fighters, such as BJ Penn.
