Smart money is on Machida, but I'll be cheering the for Shogun.

Think Machida will win but I wanted Shogun to win so him and Rampage could have a rematch but now that Rampage is gone I don't care who wins just that we get a good fight.

I agree. On paper Machida should take this. This fight is just to soon for Shogun. After that surgery, he has one decent performance and gets thrown to Machida. This doesn't look good to me. I, however, will also root for Shogun.

I usually enjoy watching karate stylists more, but I've been a huge Shogun fan ever since he trashed Arona. I really hope and believe he could take this bout if he fights more like his 2005 self. Shogun at his peak is someone who'd make even Machida sweat.

Taking recent showings into account, the edge undoubtedly goes to Machida though.

Great fight but it was rigged. The ref talked to Machida before fight started. I knew something was up. I never though corruption was going to be in UFC.......fcking bullshit win.

Rua won that fight every round.

Everyone forgets that Shogun had a series of unfortunate injuries when he entered UFC. Shogun is back now and earned a belt that was stolen from him.

Damn. I thought Lyoto had this hands down easily but seriously Shogun IMO edged him out but the judges still gave it too Lyoto. Shogun kicked his legs it and blocked accurately most of Lyoto's punches.

That was a hell of a fight.

Shogun won that fight you even seen Dana tell him that. They need to overrule that decision and do an investigation on those judges worst decision ive seen in a while Shogun is the best 205 fighter.

I don't think the ref had anything to do with it. Plus, I think Machida was complaining about the water on the ground.

I'm impressed enough to think that he should be LHW champ. Lyoto is going back to being a decision man. Not cool because he didn't deserve this one. I'll be rooting AGAINST Lyoto his next fight.

Rua

-Did more damage.
-Hit more and cleaner hits.
-Had Machida on the run most of the time.
-Scored when coming out of the clinch.
-Shows better sportsmanship at the end while Machida look like a Actor form a porno with his horrible acting.

Rua at least won 4 rounds, he has a clear victory over Machida. However I knew before fight that its too soon for him to lose the title. There is corruption somewhere in this fight Machida and Dana are in on it. Dana is a marketing giant, he wants to make more money with big fights. They will have a rematch because of this and Rua should win again then its Silva vs Rua.

I dont like Machida anymore, seems that the whole camp is messed up. I cant stand Silva because of his arrogant ways.

Dana might be the new Don King.
