Many believe that was a bad call on the judges part. Shogun also claims he could have capitalized on some openings he didn't last time.
Either way, my opinion remains the same. They are very evenly matched and the fight could swing either way assuming both are in top form. They are about the only legitimate threats to each other right now, barring a very small few. Logically, it will go to decision. I wouldn't be extremely suprised if someone gets stopped though.
I've been a huge Shogun fan since Pride, so I will root for him; however, I do like Machida.
Spoiler:Daley has NO class. Glad Dana axed him. Send his ass back to Cage Rage. Glad to see Machida finally get KTFO. Glad the judges couldn't save him this time!
Cote getting piledriven & Stout not going for broke kept me from having a cleen sweep!
Kimbo is getting cut from UFC.

Well, looks like Shogun truly is back in top form. Hopefully, he will show the UFC crowd why he was ranked #1 lightheavyweight in the world during Pride's era.
I want a rematch with Forrest Griffin soon too. I just want Shogun to fix that blemish on his record. Also, we may finally get to see Anderson Silva fight Shogun.
Also, Shogun wished all the moms out there a Happy Mother's Day. How sweet.

The issue I think with the Silva and Machida type fighters is that they think they cannot be touched. And when someone good enough or better actually connects some good ones, they will go down. Their chins havent been tested. Rua has been in the gritty, dirty fights and has a lot of skill.
Vs Rich Franklin/UFC 64 was my first, I dont watch Pride or any other MMA. The Hendo fight was alright. I want him to do something different for a change and this Chael Sonnen fight will suck. Silva is going to kick his ass and joke around etc...
Vitor Belfort should be fighting Silva this fight or someone who would make a good fight.
I cannot stand this damn camp.
Anderson Silva vs Shogun is a must.
Seriously Silva is impressive but his record resembles Chuck as in he hasn't fought serious stand up guys.
Vitor, Shogun, Lil Nog(there friends so I doubt they'll fight) Bones Jones, Thiago Silva, Rampage would be nice too see Anderson fight against.
War Shogun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he keeps on winning. Bones is a potential threat for sure.
Cote vs. Blecher was a bit shocking to me, I though it was going to be a war but it didn't turn out that way! I think it's time for Belcher to be fighting top level MWs now, he's proved himself already by taking Akiyama to a decision (I think he won that fight btw).
Kos vs. Daley was as I predicted, but I didn't think Daley would pull such a punk ass move. He needs to be punished, via suspension or fired. I hate when fighters lose their temper after being dominated. If Daley wanted to release his anger, he should have done it alone.
I'm glad Shogun won the title, that was a great fight. Shogun is definitely one of the best p4p fighters. Shogun beat one of the most technical fighter in mma and gave him his first lost. Look foward to seeing him fight Anderson Silva if they both can stay undefeated and keep their titles.
