The problem with AA is that he's training boxing mostly. Boxing for Boxing, not Boxing for MMA.
I guess. His psychologist can't help him w/that. Strikeforce on showtime right now.

Hopefully, Overeem will use his extreme strength and won't act stupid like Mir did on the ground if they fight. I still can't believe that Overeem is the same guy who used to get beat up by Chuck Liddell and Shogun. He's just so huge now.

I think Overeem said it was specifically Finklestein that rejected the fight rather than Fedor. I doubt Fedor will duck anybody.

I do find Overeem's quote interesting though,

"Fedor is the one to beat, and I am the chosen one who can do it"

Overeem is just an animal. His training is too intense for Brett. See?

😂 Brutal!!!!!!

Evans FTW!!!!! Taped BellatorFC on @8:30p EST

I cannot stand Evans. I want him to lose but he'll probably win by using the ground game.

I cannot stand Pisping, hes going to lose.

Diego, I want him to win.

Rampage and Rashad actually have similar skill sets, but Rampage is the superior boxer as of now. I see him winning, and I'll root for him. I like Rampage's style better, and I feel he is a better personality to have at the top.

Rashad has a lot of power, but his technical abilities are lacking in comparison to the top fighters. I am curious to see how Rashad approaches this. In his last fight, Rashad seemed to employ a very GSP-esque style of mixing his wrestling with his striking. He has the potential to win, but Rampage's chances are greater.

Rampage was a wrestler long before he developed his current boxing abilities. Rashad doesn't have a strong submission game so it'll probably be even on the ground. I doubt it will go to the ground much anyway.

When two wrestlers fight, it usually becomes a stand up battle.

And for the love of Athena....

CHECK THOSE ****ING LEG KICKS RAMPAGE!

Evans has the better wrestling. He will control him for the boring cheap win. Rampage is going for the ground and pound or KO.

Either one is going to lose to Rua.

I'm going with Evans via Decision, even though I will be cheering for Rampage.

And saying Evans has better wrestling and will control Rampage is absolute BULLSHIT.

Rampage held his own against Henderson who has wrestling credentials light years above Evans.

And Lindland and Randleman

One of them (Rampage or Rashad) will be taking a nap in this fight, I doubt it'll go to the ground! Can't decide who I want to pick though, I'm not a fan of either and I think who ever wins, will make for an interesting match against Shogun.

Rua already kicked Rampages ass once before in Pride. Evans got his ass kicked by Machida.

Rampage is much better now. He got mauled by Wanderlei in Pride but Rampage knocked Wanderlei out without much effort in UFC.

Shogun will still probably beat Rampage of course, I'm just sayin'.

ha-som

The wanderlei rampage knocked out tho was definitely not the same as his peak in pride. Rampage better have improved in the clinch if not all i see is him lying against the cage unconscious after a fight with shogun.

You know, I just remembered something. Rampage hasn't fought in a over a year. Suddenly, I am not so confident in my choice. 🙁

.......**** it. I'm still backing the 'Page. schmoll

Not taking away anything from Shogun, but Rampage got a rib broken early in that fight. It may have gone differently(probably not) otherwise.

I think Shogun would beat him again too, I'm just sayin'.

HAHAHAHAHA the Duffee fight was fcking funny!

Evans is a little biatch, I cannot stand him.

WTF was Rampage going?

Another BS fight.

Another rigged fight?

UFC is turning into shit.

Well Rashad managed to make the fight extremely boring, but he won off of it.

For such a rivalry build up, they seemed a little too nice at the end, I was expecting another Paul Daley moment.

I hope they get a rematch soon, hopefully Rampage will learn to keep his back off the cage for 3/5ths of the match.

Clearly we were watching different fights.

Want some cheese? Rashad socked the shit outta Page to start things off &had Page on the defensive for the majority of the fight w/his superior(albeit slightly) wrestling. When Page had the advantage he was unable to finish him because Rashad wrestled his way out of it(training w/the much bigger Carwin is paying off). Rashad earned this W. I'd have liked for him to finish Jackson, but all we can do now is hope Evans beats Shogun so that next time Evans & Page fight it's a five rounder. Bar was too loud after the fight ended. They say anything interesting after it was over?

😂 I wasn't. Especially after the example Dana made of Daley

Hey, if these two really hated each other, well they didnt act like it in the ring. This Rampage wasnt the same one while in TUF. If Rampage did hate him then he wouldnt have been standing around, he would have been like Hendo vs Pisping. But nope he just stood there, didnt really fight, didnt finish Evans off and just walked away from at the end of the fight. Wheres the smack talk at that point?

All this talk about Rampage has a new camp and hes the best hes ever been! what BS, this was another build up.

This is the UFC, its all about the build up and the final show. It was planned from the beginning that Evans vs Rua. Not all fights are rigged though.

I am glad I didnt pay a dime for this crap once again.

Yep. That is Greg Jackson-fu.

I've heard a couple of fighters mention that the UFC tells them trash talk to promote rivalries and sell more tickets. It's kinda believable since most of these guys are actually really nice people.

I'm no professional fighter, and I can't pretend to know as much as Rampage; however, I seriously thought I saw some times he could have reversed or escaped the "up against the cage" situation. I'm not sure what was going on there.

I think he meant how Rampage just.....stood there when Rashad got back up from being nearly KOed. Rashad wasn't moving well and was obviously still hurt, yet Rampage didn't press his superior striking for some reason.

I'll anxiously await the rematch. I still think Rampage's hiatus from combat played a factor last night. Rashad won fair and square, I'm just sayin'.

Also, what kind of "prize" is fighting Shogun?
