You're exactly right here. Silva's performance was awful his last two fights. People would have wanted Silva toppled off his high horse regardless of whether or not Sonnen was talking shit. The majority of people that watched the fight wanted to see Silva get his ass beat or to see Silva redeem himself like he said he would.
