Lesnar again? 🙁 I just hope Cigano destroys him...

Lesnar got lucky against Carwin and destroyed against Cain. Dos Santos will do the same.

Probably, but we really haven't seen JDS' takedown defense tested yet.

Is Brock really that good at takedowns?

Considering he was an NCAA All-American Division 1 Champ... 😐

Cain didn't win a NCAA title but he was tooling Lesnar in wrestling. Do you think it's possible Brock took Cain to lightly?

It wasnt Cains wrestling that got him the win. Hes a much better striker than Brock.

I know. But Cain's wrestling looked better imo.

They didnt even wrestle. Brock pulled off some desperate grabs and attempts but Cain was punching and hitting every time.

Cain took him down pretty easily. Brock took Cain down but Cain got right back up.

Cain isn't a better wrestler than Brock. He was able to get up after being taken down because Brock f*cked up his transition as he was trying to pass his guard. The reason Cain was able to take Brock down is because he timed his shot when Brock was throwing punches. Like Nuul said, wrestling wasn't the deciding factor. Cain won because Brock is terrified of being hit.

And with that being said, JDS isn't Cain Velasquez. Cain was ranked 4th in the country in 2006 when he wrestled for Arizona State. Dos Santos doesn't come from a wrestling pedigree.

I'm not saying I think Brock is going to win the fight. Imo, Brock's inability to take a punch is going to be more of a detriment than Dos Santos' lack of wrestling. But make no mistake, JDS better work on his takedown defense if he wants to win.

Brock is barely a better wrestler if at all. Cain has all other edges that matter in a MMA fight.

Brock is the better wrestler but yeah, his stand up sucks ass and he cant really take a hit. In the UFC/MMA one dimension fighters dont do well or last long.

He is. But the most important thing is this, as you said...

The funny thing is I was actually impressed with Brock's striking in that fight, he looked more fluid but he just needs to learn how to take a hit and not back away. If he can do this JDS is in trouble, if not JDS via massacre.

Brock would be a much better fighter if he just got over his phobia of punches.

In any case, he has no business standing in the pocket trying to strike with Dos Santos. haermm

He has power but still doesnt know how to throw a punch properly, I think both. He does need to get over his phobia of punches.

I think he needs to be better at fighting.

Not gonna happen.
