Pride was great. No place for soccer kicks and head stomps or knees to the head on the ground in a sport though.

Soccer kicks, head stomps, and knees to the head of grounded opponents should all be fair game really.

The only questionable thing in Pride were the pile drivers, and that is debatable.

You figured wrong. You said fighting outside of the UFC. So he naturally wouldn't have to fight himself since he's from UFC to begin with. 😐 . I don't really care about JS win streak outside of UFC. The nonGSP UFC WW aren't as good at LNP as Shields is so they probably couldn't duplicate the streak.

Because it stops being a sport.. Without wanting to sound big headed, I have some experience with 'almost' no holds barred rules in the early nineties in the U.K. These sort of bouts are less about sport and more about being organised bar brawls.

Well, they overturned Chael's indefinite suspension. They said he can apply again in mid june. So it's still possible Chael and Bisping will coach TUF. That'll be the greatest thing ever.

Im not totally sure but don't they only do that if the first fight was in the UFC?
