Hmm Sonnen probably takes out Stann unfortunately. Pray to God they give him Palhares next. It wouod be epic to see him mouth off his usual borderline xenophobic nonsense and then get his legs broken.

On the flip side I wonder what (if anything) he is going to say about Stann. I doubt even Sonnen would dare denigrate the US marines, though I would love too see it just for the potential backlash it could have.

And Palharres could potentially be trouble for Sonnen. But if he uses his wrestling in reverse to stuff every TD attempt from Palharres, he could use his superior striking ability to win the fight.

For all of his muster, he couldn't knock out Silva. He wailed and wailed away, and landed some decent blows, but to no avail. In fact, Silva has never been knocked out in his decade+ career. I think Stann is gonna drop Sonnen, the same way that he did to Chris Leben.

In the hands (and feet) of Silva, any fighting style would be effective. He's a beast and has proven to be a powerful foe in all aspects of fighting, so I don't see why Capoiera would differ. Plus, he recieved his yellow rope under Master Sidinho, a well known Capoeira master, so its the real deal.

I don't care who wins between them, I just wanna see a good fight. No bullshit DQ for Okami's favor like we saw back in '06, or cartoonish dancing from Silva like he did at UFC 112.
