That was an awesome card. Shogun and Henderson was way better than I expected. One of the only times I've seen Henderson that tired.
Personally, I think the Cung Le fight was stopped prematurely; however, good stuff from Wanderlei.
Faber had an exciting finish.

I want to see Diaz lose that badly. No more delays. uhuh
Silva channeled his inner Ax Murderer and went hunting, the way he stalked Le then EXPLODE on him. OMG those knee's to the dome were BRUTAL. I also thought the stoppage was hella fair, Le was gassed and smashed and just grabbed Silva' leg out of instinct. There was no way he was going to shoot for a single and continue the fight. The ref knew he was up **** creek without a paddle. I lol'd hard when Rogan was flailing about the stoppage haha. I was like "Pffffffft, whatever buddy shut up!" lol
Shogun/Hendo was good for the first three rounds then the pace really slowed down. They both looked gassed as Fus Ro Dah.
All in all a good card.
Jones FTW!!!!! Glad TJ got his ass beat. Asking for easy fights is lame. Been a fan of Dodson since I saw him on the Tapout show. Fail fights Munoz next
Jones appears more humble concerning Machida than with Rashad. He admits Machida has a chance to beat him.
Also, this.

My opinion on him hasn't really changed. It was a choke after a hard blow in an otherwise even fight. Machida didn't get treated like Rampage and looked dominant in several exhanges.
Before it looks like I'm being negative, I don't think he's overrated excluding the newer fans' opinions. Jones is clearly a great fighter and deserves his belt. Machida gave him more trouble than anyone I've seen though, and I'd love to see a rematch eventually; however, it's Rashad's turn now.
I would be more upset about the Nogueira match, but Mir's comeback was just so crazy.
Tito took a pretty hard beating before the eye poke. I thought he was attempting a "rope-a-dope" strategy but it's hard to tell. He may have just been getting beat up.
Mark Hominick fell to the flash KO.
P.S. UFC really needs to remove the "no kicking the head of a grounded opponent" thing. Jones's gorilla walking, while a smart manipulation of the ruleset, should be answerable to kicks.

Originally posted by MindsetI never heard that. You were griping about him just being compared w/Silva & GSP IIRC. Do you still think he's overrated?
You must not know how overrated works. He was touted as p4p best after he beat Shogun.
