Dan Henderson is the man to beat Jon Jones. He has exact same style of wrestling as Jonea and is even better at it, and he alon will be willing and unafraid to lose the distance with Jones, perhaps eat a few punches or elbows, and ktfo Jones with the H Bomb from Hell.

And then Alexander Gustafson will beat him and become new champion. 😄

Dan Henderson is possibly all time GOAT. He is unique in having beaten multiple legendary fighters for not just one but three different weightclasses (Feder and Big NOG for HW, Shogun and Wanderlai for LHW, and Rich and Vitor for MW). For a natural MW, that is pretty incredible. He was also beating Anderson until he was finished, and has the greatest knockout of all time against Michale Bispimg. WAR HENDO Henderson H Bomb form Hell! 😄

Henderson is no doubt an all-time great, but I have a problem calling him the greatest ever when he's been on the fortunate end of 6 split decisions that just as easily could have gone the other way.

His best wins he won decisively though. Fedor, Shogun, Vitor and Wanderlai. Shogun was argualy draw but that's only because he gassed. 3 round fight and it would have been a landslide, and Shogun basically got battered when they were both fresh. Mark my words, Jon Jones can only win this if he survives the first few rounds and waits for Hendo to gas. Hendo will be Jones' best opponent yet.

You have Jones, Hendo and Gus at top.

Then Machida, Rashad, Shogun, Rampage, and Bader.

The people like Davis, Lil Nog, Thiago, Forrest.

Nobody ever handled Shogun quite like Hendo did. Even Jones, had to switch up his triking with his wrestling and had the element of surprise and unpredictability, and the flying knee at the beginning was a huge factor in their fight. Hendo, this great NCAA Division 1, Olympic level wrestler, basically fought Shogun at his own game, stayed standing and brawled with him, and basically humiliated and embarassed him in the striking exchange. Completely one sided brutal domination. As long as Hendo acts the aggressor and closes the distance with Jones, perhaps willing to eat a few attacks, which he will, and makes sure he works a bit on his wrestling, he'll be the first to finish Jones, mark my words.

Plus he is also the only man to every hold titles in two different divisions at once within a major promotion. When you look at what it means to be P4P, nobody has his kind of resume. Only others that comes close are B.J. Penn and Randy Couture, and possibly Vitor Belfort. Guys that went on massive winning streaks like Fedor, GSP or Anderson were all great in their own right, but they didn;t have the same kind of multi weight success as those other guys.

So yeah, those are my top 4: Hendo, B.J., Vitor, and Randy.

BTW I think Jones may have gone easy on Rashad, just my opinion... He could have finished if he'd wanted.

Also, does Brendan Schaub have the worst chin at HW or what? Knocked out in his two last fights with ease, and also against Big Country.

Henderson is awesome, but he is not "greatest of all time." Let's be honest, Fedor was at the end of his era when Henderson got to him. Let's also not forget his losses to fighters such as Anderson Silva, who is notably absent from your list.

As for Jones, Henderson would lose most likely. Henderson can't outwrestle him. Henderson can't outstrike him either. His only shot is a Bisping-esque KO which probably won't happen.

Henderson is tenacious though. He will make things interesting, and I won't count him totally out.

Fedor is still only 35, he is younger than Dan Henderson! And he is still 2 natrual weight classes above him, and Hendo ktfo'd him. Henderson's fight with Anderson was close besides finish, he won first round and against anybody he is always a moment from ending the fight with a good punch and anderson has a very good chin and otherwise might have been kod. Anderson is great but he is a natural LHW that fights at MW, and doesn;t hase as many quality winsas Hendo. It isnt always a matter of one fighter having better resume because he ebat that fighter as well. Styles make fights. MMATH does not always work. Bader>Lil Nog>Tito>Bader>Lil Nog etc...

Henderson does not usually train his wrestling or even use it in his fights. He is clearly better wrestler than Rampage. In an interview Henderosn said thta he is training all aspect of his game for Jones, including his wrestling, and to expect it to be a real MMA fight. He has the power and the skills and experience to at the very least neutralise Jones's wrestling, if he works at it. And he doesn't need to outstrike Jones. All he needs is one H Bomb and it's lgihts out for Bones Jones. Jones reach is only great at keeping the distance when his opponent is tentative and not willing to eat a punch, and stays back to avoid the jab. Hendo is the man to go on the aggresive and step into his range against Jones, perhaps eat some attacks and neutralise his wrestling. and then brawl with him. The great way to be elusive against someone like Hendo is with good footwork, becaus it just makes it harder for him to catch yp to you, so to speak. That is something that Jones doesn't really have (alsp why someone like Machida or Gus, possibly anderson in rematch is the one to defeat Hendo). Fear of attack is how Jones uses his reach to create distance. Without that feat Hendo will have no problem closing distance.

Jones has proven he has a good chin, but he hasn't proven to be able to take something like the Hiroshima Bomb from Hell.

Shields and Misaki? They are both natural MWs. Also, a couple bad spots on his resume does not remove the many awesome wins he also possesses. Fedor, Big Nog and Wanderlai are all naturally much bigger than he is and he has wins against all of them as wlel as the likes of Shogun, Vitor, Rich etc... All legends.
