Like....wtf. I don't know if it's a time zone difference or the food or what, but Shogun just got BEAT! Don't get me wrong. Griffin fought a very good fight. I'm just surprised that Shogun got so tired.
Damn, even Chuck lost. The thing is, it looked like Chuck actually thought he was winning.
I agree with Healing Artisan. This year is going to give me a heart attack. Far, far too many upsets.

Thats just one of many reasons why I love the sport, the upsets, I'm not suprised by the Griffin, or even that Jardine be Liddell, I mean, I picked Liddell, but I thought Jardine had a chance, but the biggest upset of all is the Jardine/Liddell fight going to decision. Jardine's stance leaves him wide open for a superman punch, i kept yelling "SUPERMAN PUNCH,!!" at the screen. Obviously thats easy for me to say that while Liddell is in the fight, and I'm watchin, but you would atleast think his corner coulda said something, or advised it
i dont want to sound like a prick but i usually am great at predicting fights when it comes to K1 Kickboxing. i'm rarely wrong, but MMA is truely something else.
you cant just predict. Couture predicted Griffin but that's cuz he trained with Griffin and helped him with strategy. Coture was only wrong about the Liddell fight.
I gotta say, Deigo seemed alot more humble, had good class, and was pretty much the opposite of the cocky Diego who thought he was the greatest with an attitude . It was kinda funny at the end of the fight tho, Rogan went to interview him, and he was booed, Diego-"You dont need to boo, you don't need to boo" Kinda felt bad for him, gets booed for fighting his ass off.

I dont know if I would say Fitch acted like an ass, he showed alot of class at the end of the fight when he helped Deigo up when the 3rd round ended, and gave him his props, He just kept making stupid faces during the decision.

Is Pride better than UFC?
the whole Pride vs UFC discussion is pointless but the Pride guyz really look ignorant right now.
the only Pride fighters that really made an impact thus far were Anderson Silva and Rampage Jackson. Both came in and dismantled the UFC champs.
Nak looked like he was a wrestler from WWE, Shogun gassed out faster than Murilo Rua, and Chuck was sloppy from start to finish.
THese pride fighters came into the octagon with the worst mentality. They honestly thought they could just walk through all these fighters.
Fedor said it the best, if you look at skill, Cro Cop should have defeated Gonzaga with ease. Same with Shogun and even Nakamura. I knew Nak would lose simply cuz he looked like an idiot at the weighins, but he's no joke. the kid outstruck Shogun in their fight.

In all honesty, I see the Pride guys making a comeback after they adjust to the new settings. Rampage and Silva just had the easiest time adapting in my opinion.

Since when does making sense = any thing important to wandy. Damn I really wanted to see if Rampage could avenge those loses to shogun and wandy. I like Forest but I can't see him as champ.
Wandy calling Forrest makes sense that right now Forrest is probaly the #1 conteder for the LHC, and Vandy is probaly calling out Forrest to try and get a fight with him and winner fights Jackson. I would love to see Penn vs Sherk, There styles play right into each others. What do you guys think of Franklin VS Silva in October? I say Franklin all the way 😱
