Yeah, Ken's fight looked a little fishy, ref rushes in right away.
I thought Ryan broke his hand?

agree. Maybe he MIGHT be able to take Chuck down, but i dont see it staying on the ground for long. BUT let's not forget. Rashad is from Jardine's camp. A good game plan can change the outcome of this fight.

If Chuck has the eye of the tiger...

I guess we'll have wait for Georges St. Pierre to move up a class to see current Silva have a hard time.

I wouldn't. Here's why. Nog has great subs (Side note, Is it me or is Nog Bros. style jujitsu just the ultimate answer to Hendo? 😄) & can take a beating, but his stand up is a weakness IMO. Herring could have & should have finished him.

In Nogueira's defense, Nogueira has beaten Heath three times. Getting caught with a hard kick once out of three fights with someone doesn't suddenly mean his standup sucks. I'm not saying Nogueira is Ernesto Hoost when it comes to striking, but it was three fights. Heck, if I fought Nogueira enough times, I could probably land a hard kick on him eventually.

As for Chuck and Rashad, Chuck will KO him. Honestly, Rashad has only faced low/mid tiers so far. I don't think he'll be able to make it when it comes to guys like Chuck.

You consider Tito mid tier?

Well... either way, he's far below Chuck.

Plus, I want Machida to knock Forrest's head off already. 🙁

i definitley consider him mid-tier at this point. He stands no chance against most of the LHW's in the division.

I guess. Well nobody starts out fighting top tiers anyway. Brock tried & look how it turned out. Bisping is pretty good. I guess we'll have to wait & see. My internet money is on Rashad for the time being.

Chuck is nothing but an overhyped, mohawk wearing, bearbelly having bum.

With that said Rashad beats him.

Chuck all the way. He cant afford losing this one. If he loses then it would be 2 guys from TUF, same season no less, beating his ass. He cant have that!

Rashad could very well win. I'm just saying that his record doesn't indicate as much.

How did you arrive at that conclusion?

And that makes Rashad... what exactly?

Rashad was never a protected ufc champ. Rashad is nothing more than a contender.

co-sign with Caps^

Chuck was ALWAYS protected. He never faced any strikers and was always given fighters that he would not have trouble with. You can say it like this, but you can also say that UFC wasn't stacked with strikers in LHW division giving Chuck the advantage.

really depends on how you look at it.

as for Rashad vs Chuck, it can go either way. Rashad is a smart fighter and i know he has a gameplan with Jardine. as for Chuck, he better end the fight quick.

I like Chuck & I would say UFC just didn't have the strikers in LHW for him to fight. I mean why would Dana protect him? Dana honestly thought Chuck was the baddest LHW on the planet. He took him to that Pride tourney thinking that Chuck was gonna kick ass & chew bubble gum.

yea, and Chuck was in trouble against both Overeem and Mezger (even though he won both those fights).

as for tournaments, DREAM starts at 6:00 AM eastern time. good luck finding a live stream cuz i couldn't find one. the LW GP is going to be CLASSIC.

Mirko looked better. Hopefully after a couple more stomps, he'll be back at a normal mindset... and then kick Gonzaga's monkey head straight off.

I hate that he doesn't throw that many punches as well... they seem pretty effective.

srug

Yeah, Crocop wrecked Mizuno and he needed that win. However, Mizuno is a can, so maybe that had something to do with how great Crocop looked in the fight.

Sakurai showed some nice low kicks. Good stuff.

The fight card for Dream 1 wasn't stellar but it was nice seeing some old faces. I didn't watch all the fights admittedly.

I like CC, but wouldn't it be hilarious if fodder KO'ed him...

You mean like when Gonzaga did?
