I think Hendo will win. After watching how many times he got hit in the Rampage fight... I can't see him going down.
Although, at the same time, I can see Silva somehow pulling it out fast.

Hmm...

No doubt, he has a iron chin, and he's only been subbed twice. I just think he'll wear Silva down in a 5rd fight.

there will be apparently a 'HUGE' announcement during the pre-fight UFC 82 interviews.

it's probably about Mark Coleman. he's probably in the UFC Hall of Fame.

I would not put money on it. Just look what he did to Wandelei for reference. Mind you Wandy is bigger than both Hendo and Anderson and is just as big a striker as Anderson. I think Hendo beats Anderson the same way he beat Wandy.

IMO Hendo can negate Silva's striking anytime he wants... He'll dictate where the fight is going to be.

Agree, but ANderson has a pretty tough head. he sparred with Big Nog in boxing and while Nog was wearing head gear, Anderson was taking all the hits with no head gear.

anyway, that wasn't really my point for this post. Anderson really needs to move around in this fight. Like Misaki did against Hendo and got the Win which shocked many people.

I also think Hendo will be Silva's toughest challenge yet. Thus far, he's been impossible to knock out & he's a better striker than a wrestler should ever be, but Silva will show why he's the best pound4pound fighter in the world. Also, Wandy is tough & all, but I doubt he's as good a technical striker as da spida. Wandy's an agressive, mean, brawler w/evil knees IMO.

Silva is the best p4p? that i do not believe. just cuz Dana White said it, doesn't mean it's a fact. i mean, maybe u have ur reasons, but i dont see how.

P4P right now, i'd say Nogueira.

edit: Dana White is the same guy who said Japan had no talent.

Anderson, Rampage and Nogueira are all holding his belts.

Well, if you say Nogueira, you might as well say Fedor.

i didn't say Fedor, cuz too many people are hating on him nowadays. Just cuz he's not fighting top competition.

Russia! 😄

I really do think Silva is the underdog in this fight.

Has anyone seen that Fight Science programme on National Geographic?

It's pretty amazing. They have Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Bas Rutten and Dean Lister on there hitting a crash dummy that measures force etc. They compare their techniques to martial arts masters of specific disciplines.

I believe it's on YouTube.

Yeah, Bas crushed that thing.

You know what's shocking, Dean Lister is not as successful of a fighter as he should be.

his credentials are incredible.

2 Time U.S. National Sambo champion
4 Time U.S. Machado National Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion (weight class and open classes)
National Gracie Jiu Jitsu champion

He's also competed many times in ADCC. He has one many grappling matches in and out of ADCC and holds records in ADCC.

He usually starts out great in his fights, but tends to just give up towards the end, or he doesn't think straight. Cant really understand his game plans at times.

I have Hendo taking this one, but I see him as the underdog, Silva is stronger and lenghter, one major thing Hendo have over him is experience.

I'd love to see Bob "Don't hit me" Sapp's PSI. That's got to be huge.

Now I want to watch some Bas fights too...

Silva is not stronger. He definitley has less power in his hands as well. it's just Silva's precision that makes him such a great fighter.

Silva needs to do what Misaki did against Hendo. Move around, and make him chase u around.

He's a stud on the ground, but in MMA he struggles.

Wow... I stand corrected. Unreal.

only 2 wrong predictions 🙁

messed up on the Leben/Sakara fight and Anderson/Hendo fight.
