I think everybody was glad Amir won. That dude has a ton of potential, plus he seems alot more down to earth than most fighters.
The fact that Donald Trump that is teaming up with Affliction makes me not want to watch it, Its good and bad for the sport, Its good for fighters to ger more oppurtinities, but Donald Trump doesn't know shit about MMA, he's just trying to profit ouf it, which could hurt the sport because if Affliction doesnt have a strong year he could easily bail on them.

I agree on both counts. I dont mind anyone getting into the MMA but when its solely based on profit(Trump) is not good for the sport at all. I wonder if he has even watch an mma fight in his life.

That's also whats bad about it. If the orginaization isnt making money, and needs time to grow, Trump won't wait, he'll just pull the plug and let the organization fall flat on its face. Years ago he tried to compete with the NFL and started his own Football League, and that's exactly what he did. Don't get me wrong, I hope Affliction does well and it allows more fighters to get there names out there, I just wish it had a more reliable invester than Trump.
