Yeah, his gas looked good going 5 with Hendo.

Exactly. I'm not even saying that Griffin doesn't have a chance, but I don't see him tiring Jackson out.

I predict Jackson by either early-mid 2nd round TKO or Jackson by unanimous decision.

Arlovski is good, but good MMA striking doesn't always translate to good striking for pure boxing/kickboxing/etc.

i think AA will do fairly well in Boxing since it's purely limited to just striking/punching. he doesn't have to worry about takedowns, kicks, submissions etc...

AA has the tools, maybe not the chinstrap for HW boxing. I think his weak chin is exaggerated a bit.

I hear Forrest is going too stick and move tonight use his range and a lot of kicks. Training with Silva i wonder if he's been working on his clinch and knees, since they worked so well for Silva vs. Rampage.
I think it's going too be a close fight, but only time will tell. Should be a good 1.

I'm not saying Arlovski is doomed, but boxers who have been just boxing all of their career generally have better boxing skills than fighters who box just for MMA.

It's not impossible to make the foray into boxing of course. Rampage did fine in his kickboxing matches for example, but I'd say a good boxer has an upperhand on Arlovski in a boxing match.

Knees do seem to be a problem for Rampage. Shogun use them to good effect on Jackson as well. Rampage has gotten better though. Hopefully he is prepared for this.

edit: Sorry about the double post. I thought I added this to my last one. Guess not.

Rampage should have no problems in the clinch. he's been training with Chris Riley and we aren't going to see him lose as he did against Wandy (twice).

Rampage & Ricardo will win

OMFG! Forrest did it...Really earned my respect tonight. This guy could defend 5 times and still be the underdog. Chuck, Vanderleigh, Machida, Rampage, Shogun and Dan Hendersen all in the same weight class, and Forrest Griffith is the f'kin champ...amazing.

Nice showing for Tyson Griffith as well.

Well, Rampage made no excuses and Forest fought well.

I want a rematch. I personally wasn't satisfied with the outcome. Good fight to Forest though.

Thats a given that there's gonna be a rematch. Just glad that Forrest won. No one gave him a chance(me included) and he pulled the upset.

Good fight.

did ricardo win?

Nope, Cote won.

I want to see Wandy/Rampage III now!

Started to have my doubts leading up, but Forrest pulled it.

In the rematch, if there's one, it'll be Rampage though. Forrest won't do it twice.

Not sure. Wouldn't put anything past Forrest after this one.

Shit! 1st time that all my picks were wrong!

Anybody got vids?

Would like to see a Griffin/Jackson rematch, but I'm sure if Liddell beats Rashad he'll get the title shot.THat fight would just make too much money to ignore.

Juanito, Rampage's boxing coach, is complaining about the unanimous decision victory. He's actually speaking with NSAC. If this is executed correctly, this can be HUGE! we need to shake things up, and add extra rounds

speaking of extra rounds

anyone watch K1 MAX 2008 Final 8

what a ****ing event!!

Is that the coach that said he's going to retire if Rampage loss 😱

Rampage should be the 1st to get title shot
