He surprised me as well. I usually hate his fights as I find him a boring fight (maybe thats why he hasnt gotten a title shot). Last night he finished strong and at the buzzer. Hopefully he kkeps his fights like that.
Man Jon Jones may be a future LHW champ, he has mad skills and I'm glad he won. GSP completely dominated Penn to the point that Penn was just speechless. I guess will finally see the Anderson Silva vs. GSP fight if Anderson can get pass Leites. I read that Anderson Silva was bringing in some of the best BJJ masters to train for Leites. I think IMO that AS and GSP are the two best P4P fighters now, they just keep improving.
Props to Machida for his ko victory over TS, but it sucks that he can't just get the shot at the title now, instead he has to wait for the winner of Rampage vs. Jardine. Even though a Rashad vs. Rampage fight will be good, I'm more interested in seeing how well Rashad's style matches up with Machida's.

I am glad Machida won his match with a KO. I don't mind the way he fights, but he really needs more finishes like this for the UFC to give him a title shot.

Karo/Kim was a good fight, not sure why the crowd was boo'ing. I was leaning towards Karo, he kept pushing the action through 2nd and 3rd. It was a close fight though. That uchi mata by Karo was beautiful. Best Judoka in MMA, no question.
GSP/Penn was not surprising at all.
Jon Jones has potential to be a champion. Easily. His greco roman has transitioned perfectly into MMA. I'm impressed. Bonnar is no joke.
Machida is one of the most entertaining fighters. I don't understand how anyone can say he's boring, even when it goes to a decision. The brilliance of his technical fighting is one of a kind.

Technical doesnt always translate to exciting. Its boring seeing a guy run a lot. 90% of his fights are decision. I would like him more if he finished more fights. Like Ive said before, he's the Winky Wright of MMA. Very technical fighter that makes boring fights.
