No, what you're are saying about Galactus is completely absurd. Galactus is easily Eternity's equal and you said that Eternity would defeat Flash. Yet you say that Galactus would get defeated by Flash. 😬 I fail to make your connection. Besides, Galactus is FAR above Flash in terms of power. Flash is probably herald level, no higher. Galactus is a being that is a mulitversal in power. You admitted that Silver Surfer would take a few victories over Flash. Galactus made Silver Surfer what he is. It's complete bullsh*t that Flash can beat Galactus. That's like saying Batman could beat Thor in a fight. It doesn't make sense. ❌
reaction time ppl....some of the ppl that ppl are mentioning do not have the reaction time to beat him (ie Hal Jordan)

I can't believe this thread is still going on. The original poster has been shown to be GROSSLY ignorant of other characters and their abilities- I'm surprised he wasn't dismissed outright. but for my own entertainment since I've been drinking today:
Green Lantern CAN take the flash. The ring has auto-defenses. GL's own reaction time is a non issue since the ring will instantly put up a barrier vs. life threatening attacks. As for ways he can defeat the flash, you kids just need to use a little creativity. The ring is the most powerful weapon in the universe, NOT "the most powerful weapon in the universe next to the flash."
Whatever Hal can imagine with the ring, is. Imagine: Hal creates a construct (at the speed of thought) that transforms kinetic energy into heat/sound, imprisoning flash in it. Any attempt to use his powers incinerates/blasts apart the flash's body instantaneously. And yes, he can do this, since the ring can do whatever it's wielder imagines.
Superman, not precrisis, not prime...can also take the flash. Regular supes travels at 99% of lightspeed. Imagine supes takes a sundip for a week..two weeks..whatever. Suddenly his strength, durability, and yes, SPEED are magnified enormously, becoming too much for flash to drain or deal with. OR, Supes simply heatvisions the planet, incinerating the flash.
I can go on like this for weeks. Flash is powerful but he is also MORTAL and his powers are one dimensional. he does not have superhuman durability and against a foe with equal speed (surfer, for example) he's nigh useless. And before you ask- no, flash cannot speed drain the surfer. Quasar siphoned power equivalent to the output of a small sun, and not only did surfer still have more than enough to deal with Quasar, he didn't even take notice of the missing energy.
I can't even imagine that flash vs. galactus even came up. Galactus has all of the powers of his heralds to the Nth degree. Heralds can cross light years in seconds, bust planets, absorb stars, and casually create supernovas. Flash would get his ass handed to him by the WEAKEST of Galactus' heralds (Nova) let alone the master himself. Vibrating through Galactus WILL NOT WORK as galactus is essentially an energy being in a containment suit. The vibration trick is also useless against superdense or indestructible material- if the flash tried to vibrate through the destroyer (made of enchanted uru) he'd most likely destroy himself in the process.
Seriously, think a little bit before taking on the entire forum regarding something this silly.
green lanterns ring rejects anything yellow right? wouldnt that mean it would have have no effect on the flash?(seeing as how he has yellow on his suite) plus he is the only one in the universe with a connection to the speed force,killing anything that touches it, except him. so as he did with savatar, killing him. He would grab them (since he'd steal their speed, leaving them motionless) and simply throw them into the speed force. as it also says in the link above, he can reach the speed of light instantly from a motionless state. And though supes can run 99% the speed of light, the flash has no limits to his speed, meaning he'd eventually go faster than the cosmic speed given to the man S.S. and with the whole light passing through him making him invisible thing, you wouldn't know who is landing these specifically named "infinite mass punches" at the speed faster than the speed force. wonder women said herself that zoom's flashes at lightspeed were stronger than supersmans, and the flash is the fastest being in the universe, way faster than zoom. Not only that but being able to use kinetic energy to cause degrees as high as pleased, (hotter than the sun if held for the right amount of time) and is able to cause this heat faster than the speed of light, he'd instantly melt anything he touched. I know that galactus and S.S. are all mighty. I'm not underating them at all. I'm just saying that if flash could stop all motion in the universe at a rate faster than the speed of light, wouldnt he be able to do what he wanted from there? not only freeze them, but take whatever speed they had, and do something like throw them into the speed force or something which would kill them, because the flashs' are the only beings with a connection to it. Just take it into consideration. This was where i was coming from.
