Why did Luke have a blaster in ESB?

THe point about Luke taking and using his blaster is better made on Cloud City.

Yes I mean the fight with Vader pointed his skill. It was vaders use of the Force that defeated Luke tireing him out. He brought his blaster because he he brought it. The reason being that he trusted the weapon more him being in the rebellian n'all
