i guess you got me there. but then you have to consider that said garbage either mostly or completely consists of waste from products purchased through american businesses, helping to stimulate the enonomy in a minute way, similar to the minute waste of labor to collect their trash.

Just like we don't need multimillion or billion dollar companies laying off american workers in favor of foreign ones. In short the problem isn't the people looking for opportunity on a smale scale but the ones looking for a million dollar a year pension, IMO.

That's also true. I can think of other services, but they're more based on cities rather than a national level.
Although, what about the extra costs done to make America a multi-lingual country. (Spanish speaking teachers, printing things in Spanish, etc)?

Actually, this makes sense too. But foreign workers are also used oversea's.
I have no problem with people wanting to immigrate to this country, hell, my anscestors were immigrants.
The problem I have is with how some people do it. The US Government allows between 700,000 and 900,000 LEGAL immigrants a year, that's a lot. The problem with illegals is that they enjoy many of the benifits of living here yet pay none of the taxes, so the rest of us have to pick up the tab. IIn the case of hispanics they want to keep their language. If you want to live in America then learn English.
I'm the first to admit there's little we can do about the 11 million plus illegals already here but we can indeed make our southern border much harder to cross and should.
I have no problem with immigration, Just do it legally.

that has nothing to do with the impact of illegal immigration though. though i agree that anyone born in the u.s. should be required to learn english in a public school, its irelevant here.

Maybe they should just bring up some crazy bacteria infefsted chihuahuas and exploit our unsuspecting immune systems and kill us all. That way they can take over our culture with their own. Get real man. Our country and our people shouldn't have problem blending with other cultures OR languages. Canada does it, Brazil does it, and on and on.

Yeah because I mean only about 95% of the US population speaks English, you would never alienate yourself from a culture by not learning the langauge of the majority. 🙄
