Eagles do have a shot at it though IMO.
I really think the Vikes can beat out the Bears in the division.
😆 lol i like how you funny you thought that it would be if those were my superbowl picks, nice use of the smileys!
yes
Chris Simms is in the hospital!?
Had his spleen removed. He will be missing considerable time.
"You will need some treatment for a year or more to ward off infections. Plan to go home 7 days after the operation. That is, unless there is a need for you to go back to a medical ward for extra treatment from the haematology specialist. You will be told about this at the time. You will need to take antibiotics and have vaccinations for a year after the operation. "
"You are likely to feel very tired and need rests 2 to 3 times a day for a week or more. You will gradually improve so that by the time 2 months has passed you will be able to return completely to your usual level of activity"
"You can restart sexual relations within 2 or 3 weeks when the wound is comfortable enough. You should be able to return to a light job after about 4 weeks, and any heavy job within 8 weeks."
update- 2-3 months for simms.
he was hurt during the game and came out. He then came back and lead his team on a TD drive to take the lead, unfortunatly they were unable to hold it and lost on a FG. He was very dizzy and throwing up in pain, and went diretly to the hospital after the game to have his spleen removed.

I was thinkin maybe im alone on this one but nope there are other people out there that hates Joe Bucks commentating
🤘 🤘
hmm what a bonehead move going for it on 4th down. You gotta take that FG and then go for the onside.. your gonna have to do an onside kick at some point no matter what. Why not make it a 7 point game and try it with 1 minute left and a time out.. so much the genious that is bellicheck.
I think Simms is pretty good, same with guys like david carr. If your team has a total piece of shit O-line theres nothing you can do.
Wow do I hate the Rams.
Rackers almost attempted a 77 yard Field Goal. How cool/hillarious would that have been to see attempted?
AZ was down 2 points, its 4th down for the rams with like 5 seconds so they punt. AZ fair catches theres a penalty - offsides on defense Rams DECLINE penalty. Both teams assume game is over, bulger and warner talk at midfield blah blah. Refs say HOLD ON! Because the game cant end on a defensive penalty and because the Rams declined the penalty and AZ had a valid Fair catch AZ will be allowed a Free Kick as the rules allow for that. So the ball is spotted up for a 77 yard FG Rackers is on the field warming his leg up.
Then the Rams decide well F*ck that we will accept the penalty then and just take the ball and take a knee with 0:00 on the clock game over. The Refs then allow this! Denny Green was/is extremely pissed. (i mean its not likely at all that he makes a 77 yarder) but still the point is the rams declined the penalty and then changed their minds? Its not AZ's fault that STL didnt know the rules, there is no way in hell they should be able to go back and accept the penalty. Once again the refs ruin football.
The record is 63 yards by Tom Dempsey who had like half a foot or no toes or something for anyone who was wondering.
Oh yea Elam has also tied this. And apparantly he has hit up to 72 yarders in practice.
Well, I've calmed down since yesterday. It was my wife's birthday and we didn't even answer any of the phone calls, we were so pissed.
So hats off to the Bungholes, is all I can really say. In the NFL, you have to take advantage of opportunities, and they certainly did. Trust me, Steeler Nation is aware how much Retardo Colclough has always sucked and has no business fielding punts like he's setting up for a volleyball spike...in other words, they miss Randle El in that department.
It was odd, seeing a game where Carrie Palmer was getting mauled, and then the next thing he's throwing up TD passes right after costly turnovers, but hey, that's what it takes to win in this league. They scored off turnovers, which is the mark of a winning team.
Now that they've won 2 of the last 3 (and 3 of the last 8), the Bengals have officially made it a rivalry. Good luck to that fine, football tradition-rich city of Cincinnati. I'm sure their merchandise sales will skyrocket, going from 1 jacket (bought on accident) sold from 1994-2003 to a few thousand jerseys and maybe even a Chris Henry autographed bail bond receipt.
For the first time ever, I can honestly say I rooted for the Clowns 2 weeks in a row. Didn't see last week's game, but watched them choke one away to the Ratbirds yesterday. Forget the botched call on Mason's catch; they shouldn't have let them get all those second chances to put them in position to get the FG after keeping them from generating no offense (as usual for the Rat Attack).

yea not good for the steelers with two 3-0 teams in teh division. Ravens are HORRIBLE though. I realise in 2,000 they won with D but they also had Jamal then, the real jamal. McNair looks incapable of making good throws and winning a game through the air. The Ravens offense is just beyond horrible, they are gonna really struggle with any team that puts up some points and not even that many as you saw with the browns. I mean hell Droughns didnt even play.
I've always wondered what it's like at a Ravens practice, especially with Kyle Boller at the helm. Do the Ravens' offense walk on the field and get ribbed by the defense? I know if I consistently was a member of a top-notch defense that had to put up with that consistent, abysmal offensive showing (minus Lewis' 2000 & 2003 rushing), I'd kick the offense's ass when Billick was looking the other way.
