instead they saved it for seattle. That was a catch and fumble was it not? He had posession both feet down with the ball then hes hit and drops it.. again kill refs. Ill give it up to the bears and especially grossman playing very well but thats just BS

Playing very well indeed, I kind of figured the game would go this way. Seeing as how the Bears are the NFC's best and their D is sick. I dont expect a comeback.

I do like how the Baars DB's cover, Manning has 2 interceptions already, and seeing as SEA will have to play from behind, which means more passing I expect him to get atleast 1 more.

Forum I took your advice and started the Ravens over the Bears, I hope that wasnt a biased decision as the Bears are playing your team the Seahawks, before I didnt even realize that, not that the Ravens did bad today but it looks like the Bears will do better.

hey digi agreed with me.

and im sorry yes that was pass int. no it was not a catchable pass hed have to be 5 yards out of bounds to catch that.

The D is tough and hasselbeck is just making some horrible decisions, which is hard to overcome against anyone, but you cant play like an idiot against the bears.

Because the bears schedule is so easy this game might determine home field advantage already.

(first game of the season a few years ago vander-jack-off missed a FG in the opener vs the patriots.. had he made it and the colts one, colts would have played NE in indy in the playoffs that year instead of manning being raped in the snow again. THese early games can definitely have consequences.

But can be easily fixed tooo.

what can be easily fixed? the making bad decisions thing?

if the bears dont have a major collapse they should pretty easily be the #1 team on power rankings, especially with the colts struggling with the jets.

Big question for um now is gonna be can Rex stay healthy all year.

After this week Ravens should be getting the RESPECT they deserve.

did you watch the game? Im sorry but Mcnair still looked bad for most of the game. Im just afraid by the time Mcnair gets comfortable there hes going to be hurt. He missed Derick mason by 30 yards on one play. Yes they won, yes they are good, no their offense is not playoff capable. The Bears have proven they are a complete team, the ravens no.

As a matter of fact I did watch the game. Its not going to take long for him to get comfortable, and when he does they're one of the top superbowl contenders. They're actually one right now. I realize that you must hate the Ravens but they're 4-0 and they deserve respect.

I actuall dont hate the Ravens at all, as Ive said I live in Baltimore. Im from seattle and I grew up with them, they are my team. But living in this area I root for both the Ravens and the Redskins (in most situations, being in the NFC occasionaly I gotta go against um) I am just being honest about them, even die hard ravens fans around here are worried. And I also get the bennefit of seeing every game of theirs.

What I mean is that if the team loses a game early on, its not an excuse for missing the playoffs because they ample time to correct thier mistakes.

It's like saying the Jags lost to the Colts solely because of the kick return, but if they were better than the Colts, they would of dug deep and stopped Payton Manning.

Watched the Jets/Colts game and the Lions/Rams game yesterday. Turns out they both ended up being 2 of the better games on the slate yesterday.

One thing about the Jets fans...they got some arm strength. After the questionable pass interference call on the Colt's 2nd-to-last TD, a fan launched a Bud Light bottle, and though it was probably aimed at the Ref's or the Colts players, it landed in the Jets secondary. If you know the layout of the Meadowlands, that's some serious arm strength. I've been to the Meadowlands, and they serve beer in plastic bottles. Someone sacrificed a good eight bucks of beer to provide enough weight to get that baby to the ten-yard line.

Glad I picked up Mike Furrey on a few of my fantasy teams (not sure if this one, however) and started him!

And one last thing: Year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year, we hear in August: "This is the year for the Arizona Cardinals!!" I don't care if they acquire Peyton Manning and Reggie freakin' Bush, anyone who says that next year is automatically discredited.

You can't make this stuff up...
gathering

This is how you know Bungles fans used to be Browns fans. The Browns can lose 60-3 and their fans will single out a 13-yard QB scramble in the third quarter and talk about how their QB should easily make the Pro Bowl. It's called preaching to the choir.

"It's tough to say after a loss like this, but hopefully well be able to look back in a month or two and say we needed this," Palmer said. "I don't know if we were too cocky or too confident, but I know this is a team that we should've beat. Hopefully, well get another shot at them. I know if we play our best football, we can beat them."

"They knew they couldn't stop us, but you need the team as a whole to succeed," receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh said. "There aren't any [defensive backs] on that team that can cover us."

It's like some kid coming over to your house and beating your tail in front of your mother, and afterwards you telling your older brother that the same kid will be shaking in fear the next time he crosses your path.

amen to that

oh yea i agree and i didnt mean either team would miss the playoffs, i was just saying a game this early could determine homefield advantage, both teams easily make the playoffs.

WOW the refs are about to screw the rams. I wanna murder refs (and I hate the F*ckin rams)

That's a penalty that's reviewable, even if they hadn't had that conference on the field and overruled the original call, they could have picked up the flag on replay.

god damn higher younger refs.

I'm confused. Does this mean that the younger refs think they are high and mighty? Or that more should be employed?

Frankly, I'd rather have younger refs; because of their better eyesight and the fact that they're more with the times.

yea, yunger refs are better because the older veteran refs think they ate all good because they are like 10 year vets
f older refs

Colts / Jets -- Excitement City!

What a game! 😄
Yeah, that Manning is... like... pretty good, or somethin'. 😎
I may have to drink more if this is what it's gonna be like, regular like.
But make no mistake about it --
Those Jets can play some Rugby .

i know
i say that the colts make it into the super bowl against the seahawks and the colts win the whole thing
just a prediction even though my team's the raiders.
