HA i'd put my whole paycheck this week on the lions finishing with a better record than the pack and i'll explain to you why.
1. Packers have 1 receiver who can catch the ball consistently(Donald Driver, see note), lions have at least two. Note: donald driver dropped a pass that hit him directly in his hands which changed the complection of the game Monday against Philly.
2. As much as it pains me to say it, Favre will throw at least 2 picks a game the rest of the season because his receivers like to tip the ball high in the air for it to be picked off.
3. Lions have a halfway decent defense, the packers have none to speak of.
4. Packers are started two rookies on the offensive line which means no protection for brett and no running game.
5. AHMAN GREEN FUMBLES AND HE SUCKS.
6. Mike MOTHER****ING Mcarthy is a rookie head coach who was the offensive coordinator for san fransisco and new orleans in recent years. Also he was the QB coach for gb in 99 when favre had his worst statistical year.

Actually, I'm a Steelers fan, so at this point my boat is only barely above yours.
But yeah, I will say one thing: Detroit WR Mike Furrey is having an outstanding year. A former safety, he is really an ideal slot receiver, as he will go over the middle every damn time, has outstanding hands, and will get right up after he gets popped.
Steelers huh... u must have had a great superbowl party then... talking about unknown WR's how bout the job Colston has been doing, he catch's everything and anything with 5 yards of him. He, like furrey, came out of nowhere. Whereas some big name receivers are having some subpar seasons so far which is kinda disappointing to me. ie chad johnson. but i suppose without his celebrations this year he is doomed
After Randel El left in Free Agency... i figured that heinz ward would have 100+ receptions this year, 1200+ yards receiving, just based on the fact of how Roethlisberger threw the ball last year in the playoff's and considering the loss of Bettis, who i think was one of the top 5 RB's of all time. At this point i don't think heinz has 10 receptions on the season... which is a sad sad sight to see.
its backup qb for 1 day to see if hes better? what kind of idea is that? First Charlie Batch played the season opener because Ben was hurt, and Ben has been back ever since so your a little late.
If GB decides to start the rebuilding process during the season (meaning giving rodger the ball) Favre needs to be traded to a contender, he could make the difference... unfortunatly what contenders need a QB? I think hed make the Ravens offense a LOT better.
