These came off the top of my head, they're probaly more.

Obviously im gonna be biased here. But remember hasselbeck was #1 qb in the NFC last year.

Palmer has had 1 very good year and has been solid this year but not great, id be hard pressed to put him up there yet. Delhomme is good but not in the same league as hasselbeck. Vick? while explosive isnt anywhere near as good a qb as hasselbeck. Brees not even close. Green.. Green is one of those guys overlooked a lot.. sort of like tiki barber. Always puts up consistant great numbers so id give him the nod above of hasselbeck but greens career is very close to over.

Id feel find having hasselbeck at #5

Beyond the playing experience advantage (pre-season/practice mostly) wallace also has mobility. Now hes not gonna fool anyone into thinking his vick back there, but seattles protection was not good last game, and they will be able to have wallace moving around to buy time putting him on a lot of bootleg plays. Green would stand back and get killed.

I thought we were doing rankings based on this year....if so why is Green even mentioned? If we are going by career then where is Ben Roethlisberger? He has a better Winning % as a starter then anyone else mentioned, plus a ring.

I would put Hasselback ahead of Green, Vick, and Brees. Palmer, Hasselback, and Delhomme all are pretty much in a tie in my opinion.

If we were going by this year then Grossman would be ahead of Hasselbeck.

About Wallace, I did see in preseason he caught a pass (I think...watched about 60 preseason games and all the free agent and backup guys started to blend together). Don't forget that Greene has some NCAA stat out there...let's see, I think it's most wins in their 4-year career, so he's not a slouch. Yes, he has no NFL experience but I thought it was a great draft pick a few years back. If Seneca is involved in a blowout (either way) I wouldn't be surprised to see Greene in there in the 4th quarter. After all, now that he's your #2 guy for a month, he could step on the field at any moment.

About those QB rankings, I agree with forum above except I would have Brady at #1. The guy is a proven champion with whoever's around him and is far more mentally tough than any QB in the league. Rounding out the rest, I'd have Manning, McNabb, Bulger, Hasselbeck. Trent Green or Carrie Palmer would be #6, I suppose. I'd put a healthy Big Ben at #10 or 11 for the moment, possibly behind Eli, Brees, and (gulp) Carr. Unhealthy Big Ben, as has been the case all year, who knows.

1) Who would win in a fight between David Beckham and Ray Lewis? Hell, I'd even say David Beckham and Neil Rackers would be one-sided.
2) What is Cover-2? (Hint: It's not the latest fad in shin guards)
3) Why do you hate sports that require more scheming, athleticism, and brutality than ones that center on kicking a ball towards a rainbow-clad guy diving headfirst into a metal post?

i like soccer, but football is better no question
it's more strategic and when was the last time a soccer player got a concussion or an injury of the calibur in a game?

and as far as the QB rankings I wasnt going by this year. I was going by just in general. And yea by career ben would up there.. but look at him this year and look at him in the superbowl. He hasnt done enough yet to be up ther. Brady does seem more all around proven to be #1, but talking about pure QB skill I still say its manning. Think about the intelligence and skill it takes to call the plays.

True. I dunno, point is Hasselbeck is good, and it sucks for the Hawks to lose him. Might not be hopeless though.

Brodie Croyle might be starting for KC this week.. so they got a chance... however still have LJ to worry about. If alexander was healthy this would be great alexander vs LJ seneca vs croyle.

Is Priest still even playing?

I got kind of mad when like the first day Edwards was there he announced LJ would be starting. Priest has proven himself in the past, and if he didnt have to share carries with LJ last season then he probaly would have putten up better numbers in the games he played in.

Did you follow football closely last year? LJ came in because of preists injuries. Priest is very hurt.. his kneck has just been crushed, hes become way to injury prone over the last few years. LJ was gonna be the starter by default. But his performance over the last 9 games or so last year when he was thrown into the starting role was one of the most amazing football performances of all time. The reason he isnt that same monster this year is they lost their best O-lineman and their FB (who was one of the best FB's in the league and FB's are always under rated) This is why Chester Taylor is doing well, vikes got him KC's FB and Seattles LG who was the best LG in football.

I know Priest was injured, but when Herman named LJ the starter he didnt know if Priest was going to be back or not.

LJ's performance over the last 9 games were amazing, but lets not forget about Priest, in 02 he scored 21 TD's, in 03 he scored 27, and in 04 he scored 14. Then in 05 he was sharing carries with LJ, thats when his numbers started to go down and then he got injured.

in 04 his numbers went down. LJ earned the starting job. Priest was never gonna be healthy enough to carry the full load again. Its a shame Priest isnt healthy enough to play at all though cause he would make a great 2nd back to have behind LJ.

I hope he plays another year, so he can show people that he still can get the job done.
