Oh come on.... people have been sucking Big Ben's dick and Pittsburgh's *** for the past two seasons, and the first time something is going wrong, you complain that your sick and tired of hearing people complain how the team and the QB are playing like shite. Take it like an Arizona fan.

Totally offtopic and warrented an another post.

But totally weird.

It was suppose to say, "Pittsburgh's T.I.T" but it totall is not allowed.

But dick is.

Funny.

I could care less about people's comments from this season. I'm just tired of the damn Super Bowl whining. And to assume that a Seahawks fan rattling on about Big Ben in the Super Bowl is going to lead to whining about referee shit (not censored) is very realistic judging on the history of this thread.

Whatever. I told people to let it go, and they can't. I can't do anything about a fickle football team's insecurities from the past while sitting behind a computer in North Carolina, so keep on with the whining, and I guess I'll just ignore it.

ben is just no good this season
i mean come on, he lost to my raiders

Yep.

but then again
Raiders' defense is actually pretty good

Yeah, I was surprised. Raider D played well.

i thought i heard the announcers say that the raiders had the number 1 defense in the passing game in yards allowed.

Was the original comment just about last year's Superbowl? If it was, I would agree with you, but if its about somebody saying that Big Ben iis overrated, I wouldnt agree with you because he is commenting about Big Ben as an individual.

That's what I got from Forumcrew's post.

Im not surpraised about the Raiders D, I heared somewhere its rated in the top 5 in the league and when you think about it, the Raider aint that bad.

ive seen that before. Ive never claimed seattle played great. Seattle played bad, pittsburgh played bad it was an awful game on both sides. The reffing was also as bad as any team was.

Also i didnt bring this up, just because i said something negative about ben isnt me bringing up seattle got robbed. Woody Paige has said for a while Ben is a highly over rated QB. I also dont notice the him out playing manning part. Yea his team won and he made a tackle on harper who was too dumb to take it outside.. but other than a nice tackle ben certainly didnt outplay manning. But still all i was doing was talking about Ben and I see nothing wrong with that. And I dont see being a superbowl winning QB as a reason for making someone great if they played god awful in the superbowl.

I guess it comes down to you cant have anyone say anything you dont like about a pitt player after a loss.

Actually I told all of you how overated he was and thats the answer I got from all of you "he won a superbowl" 😂 Irony

by the way it was the worst superbowl performance in history of the nfl 22.6 quaterback rating 2 Ints 9 of 21 if it wasnt for awtawn randle el they would have lost that game...

He doesnt have sick team of a year ago that had the ball a averge of 35 minutes a game and 30 plus rushes at 4.2 yards a carry and having to only throw the ball 16 times a game anymore. He now has to make the plays for them to win I stated a couple pages back reality was going to set in this year and he would throw quite a bit of picks.. Thats life

😉

i had no intention on discusing why anyone won or lost the superbowl. No one was whining about anything.

Pitt needs to start protecting their future, lett Batch play. Miami decided it wasnt worth is risking an unhealthy culpepper especially when he clearly wasnt playing 100% Alexander has been capable of playing for a while now but seattle isnt going to risk it until its needed. Not worth ruining a franchise player over a couple wins. Now luckily seattle can have a bad streak and make the playoffs, pitt isnt so fortunate but they are taking a big risk with their future leaving ben out there and the way hes playing batch is the better QB anyway(for right now)

that is true but its a somewhat meaningless stat. The Raiders also see the least pass attempts against them so of course there will be less total yards. Thier D has still played pretty well though. Now when you look at % of passes completed on them they are ranked like #21 Now you may wonder why teams throw on them less than anyone else, well its because they are busy running on them more than any other team.

That stat is a little overrated as with teams getting ahead of the Raiders so much and with their offense being a joke, teams can pretty much pack it in with the running game and forget about passing.

Saying that, the Raiders do have a good defense. It's pretty young too, so if the offense can do anything in the coming years Oakland might be back on top.

EDIT: damn Forumcrew beat me to it.

F*cking Vikings. ~face-plain.~

Horrible game by Brad Johnson, our defense, and the Refs. I do not think I've seen a game of good refing yet. This game a some HORRIBLE calls even when it was challenged. They might have not made a difference, but you never know what would have happened once we got those first downs.

But, once we got the Punt Return TD, and then an 80 Yard Return by the Patriots, 4 plays and Touchdown, I knew we would lose. There was no doubt in my mind after that.

i only watched about half the second quarter then i didnt pay much attention cause it was just so one sided and i had school crap to catch up on. i expected a NE win but figured it would be close.

Regarding this week's matchup of IND/NE and our recent QB rankings, I'd still stand by Brady over Manning. This game on Sunday night is going to be something else. New England will get at least 27 points easily, and this will be a nice test for Manning and Co. to see if they are indeed the class of the AFC...and also to see if Peyton can keep from going 1-7 head-to-head against the Brady Bunch.

I don't watch the NBA, but I just heard that the defending champs in the NBA got blown out of their own stadium on the night they got their rings, played in front of a National TV audience, on the night many people just watch 1 game and turn off the sport for the season, and in front of many people paying good money for that. Sure it's only 1 game, but it's still a mega-embarrassing one at that. Nothing says 'we're ready to defend our title' like getting annihilated at home...that, and starting 2-5 in the NFL, of course. 🙂

How does this relate to football? With the disaster that the Steeler's season has become, I guess I can find solace in the fact that they beat the lowly Dolphins on opening night.

Yeah, they did. It's funny but that was the Dolphins best game. hahaha.

Anyways, I wouldnt put Brady over Manning. I think Manning is in the class by himself. Sure, he hasnt gone to the Superbowl, but he still one of the best QB's to ever play.

When it comes to the Pats vs the Colts. It's the Patriots who beat the Colts team. Not Brady beating Manning. This year, it will be interesting to see if the Colts can beat them at New England again.

The funny thing about the Colts is that they're not as dominate as last year but they have this new ability to win close games. Maybe, all these close games will help them in playoffs.

difference between the dolphins and the bulls (who beat miami) is that the bulls are a pretty good team.

the NE matchup should be great. It comes down to Indy being able to stop the run and if they cant can manning make up for it. NE will be able to score on them and control the clock with the run so manning is gonna have to be superb.

I don't care who the team was. Losing by 100 zillion points (not exactly the same as losing on a last-second jumper, BTW) on the night you get your championship rings...you should just put the gun to your head on that one.

I think each of you is right in your own way about this Manning vs. Brady matchup. I really think that this is going to be one of the classics. I like both QB's, actually, but the quote about Manning having to be superb is accurate. I just don't see the Pats scoring less than 27. Manning and Wayne are going to have to be on fire, so we'll see what they can pull out. Yes, Manning is winning some close games, but so has his counterpart. Best thing to do is grab some brewskis (not teddy), chips, and watch.
