Jones-Drew has been amazing at times, and scored in I believe 6 straight games.
Now on Around the Horn Vince Young was just picked for ROY, but really I dont see how he could even be considered top 3 at this point.

Reggie Bush, Jones-Drew, dude from NE, Matt Leinart, and Colston.
by the numbers
Colston:
917 yds (14th in NFL, #1 among rookies by a mile)
15.5 yds a catch (7th among top 30 WR's)
TD's 7 (tied for 4th)
Reggie:
405 rush yards (over 200 yards out of the top 30)
Avg per rush 3.2 (worse than anyone in top 30 in rushing, i believe I heard its the worst in the league among RB's with a meaningfull # of caries)
TD 4
now where he catches up is his other endevors..
687 yards for 8.7 yards a catch with 2 TD's through the air
and
196 pun return yards (20th in average per return) with 1 TD
so he has 1,288 yards and 7 TD's pretty solid numbers for sure. Although he does have 2 fumbles and tossed up 1 interception.
Jones-Drew:
666 on the ground (2nd among rookies)
amazing 6.1 avg per rush
9 TD's
332 yards in the air with 2 TD's and over 10 yards a catch average.
and
689 kick return yards with 1 TD
and a grand 1 punt return for 13 yards.
Totals: 1,687 yards 12 TD's, only 1 fumble and much high averages per touch. (clearly kick returns give him a big boost on yards)
Addai seems to come up a little short, with Maroney trailing behind him.
Young has the worst QB rating of any starting QB right now.. and well just hasnt been impressive enough to win this yet.
Leinart has more yards than Young, a better QB rating (but still low 70's) and a slightly better TD/INT ratio. Leinart finishes above young, but he also is not in the hunt for the top spots.
This last few weeks are really gonna matter a lot NO faces some questionable defenses so it may come down to Colstons health, although I think Jones-Drew might sneak in and steal it all away.
I'm saying Jones-Drew, Reggie, Colston(only because of injury), Addai, Leinart, Maroney, Young
theisman finally said something smart, the hit made grossmans arm go forward, that was clearly a fumble not an incomplete pass. But no surprise the refs get it wrong.
Refs screw the rams again.. how do you say Bruce was in bounds? he was clearly out of bounds and one of the refs even said he was.. way to waste the rams time refs.
I agree with the choice of Jones Drew.
I would give it too Colston if he didnt get injured...but I would easily give it to Jones Drew over Bush anyday. Bush has had 2 great games...while Jones Drew seems to always score TD's...(i know, he is on my fantasy team).
I would never give it too Young in a million years. But, they will because its Vince Young. And that would be the only reason too give it too him.
Remember how, last year, whenever Hester touched the ball at Miami, he was going to take it the distance (and did many times)? He was almost a household name in college football - a feat hard to do for non-QB's.
Maybe it's just me, but he's kind of slipped under the radar this year (could have something to do with the Bears' games being low priority on my viewing list, however) until recently. Everyone knew he was a threat and honestly, I had forgotten about him. I like the guy. Good for him.

You all know I'm not a numbers guy, so here's my take on this: For the 5,234th year in a row, the Cardinals were predicted to make the playoffs, regardless of who was at the helm. Even though they won last weekend, this season has been yet another disaster.
Now the Titans were predicted to lick the underside of a rest area toilet, and they've surpassed that. I know Vince Young has made poor decisions at times but the fact of the matter is, he has won far more games than expected and his teammates have rallied around him to at least make the season respectable. It's so easy to throw in the towel every year when things start going wrong (i.e. Detroit, Arizona, Houston, and recently Green Bay). That shows character and winning with lack of receiving talent on that team is very respectable. Is he the next Steve McNair? It's impossible to tell at this point. I just think he has done a great job this year when he was expected to put up Alex Smith-type results.
With all that being said, neither should win ROY. That will probably go to Colston.

He has done better than most...but I think Tennesee isnt that bad of a team. Defense is pretty decent with Bullock, Pacman Jones, that guy on the line and some pretty good pickups with David Thorton and Travis Henry.
I dont know, I just think, as I said before is that if he does get the ROY it will be because he is Vince Young and is winning games, not because he deserves it. Look at Jones Drew, he is having a great year, returning kicks for TD's, getting rushing TD's, has an amazing YPC, and can catch passes. He is also important to the Jags.
Sorry about the double post. Just noticed it. They're actually different due to editing the wrong one.
Well, congrats to whoever gets the ROY honors, whether it's Mr. National Championship, the 7th-round Saint, or that Jag with a hyphenated maiden name. I just know it ain't gonna be Santonio by a mile, though he's come on a bit as of late.
Or Bobby Carptenter on the D-side.
I had a funny conversation with a guy at work.
We're talking about the Cowboys and how thier defense played like crap, and I mentioned something similiar too, " Well, its no supraise anymore that a fast guy like Bush can easily outplay Dallas D because thier strength is easily with thier very big strong defense".
He goes, " what the **** are you talking about, Dallas is known for thier fast, sideline to sideline defense".
Im like, "what to do you mean, look at them, they're huge...thier linebackers are quick, but definitly not Colt's quick. they're big guys, and Bush exploited thier lack of sideline to sideline quickness."
He's like, " Dallas has small guys, what the ****".
So pretty much thats how it went. His problem is that he was stuck in the past 5 years ago when Day Nguyen, Coakley and Ellis were running the defense.
He even goes to tell me that Ellis is roughly the average wieght and height for an LB.
What the **** is he smoking?
Ah well, thats my rant of the day, with an conversation.
Maybe.
But the record has been broken three times in the past 6 years, while Marino's hasnt been broken. Just that says its harder to get 5,000 yards.
LT, dont get me wrong, has played unbelievable well and was a lock to win the MVP, but Bree's, if he breaks the record, plus the turnaround the Saints are having (pretty much Bree's doing playerwise) could easily overshadow LT's record.
I dont know, I think its harder to get 5,000 yards.
